I haven't even left the parking lot and I'm leaving this review :) That is, by far, the best cake/cupcake I have ever eaten. It's like magic. I have 5 more to get through, but the chocolate ganache has me for life!!! Tamika is amazing, and this is a must stop for foodies and us regular folk alike!

I wlas.y girlfriend tols me about this place 2 years ago. I knew this holiday I wanted to have a lemon pound. Ake and my sister BFF wanted the Grandma pound cake. The location is perfect. I love that it's a black owner. She also works for the state of CT. When I walked in. I was immediately treated. It smelled so good when you opened the door. I immediately began to take pics of all the pound cake cupcakes on display. When I left with the lemon and grandma pound cakes. I felt like I was carrying 50 lbs. The cake is delicious. It's not sweet, which is a good thing. The cake has a perfect density for a pound cake. The only negative is that. I would request a lite lemon glaze over the heavy glaze. But overall, it is definitely the best pound cake I've ever had. Please don't sleep on Perfect Poundcake. When you're in CT. Take the best opportunity to drive to Perfect Poundcake and order all the cupcakes, and take a poundcake home. To my Yelpers, let's continue to eat our way through the world, #Foodie4life!!

The Poundcake cups were absolutely amazing, we got the pineapple coconut, Oreo, lemon and strawberry lemon and they were perfect! Super moist and so much flavor! The owner was super friendly and had a very positive attitude!

Hidden away in a tiny storefront on Burnside Ave., this is a great spot for all lovers of pound cake! Huge variety of flavors that come in either a pound cake or "pound cup". I happen to love coconut and this little cup did not disappoint. Very different texture from a cupcake. And packed with lots of yummy coconut flavor! Also, not sure if she was the owner, but the girl behind the counter was friendly and very helpful.
