The food was alright, and the service was adequate, but because of the service charge from credit cards, they only accept cash, and that presented a problem with us attending our district Convocation, and we live in Massachusetts. However, we do understand how those charges affected the bottom line. We wound up getting mostly breakfast meals late at night after service.

This place seems to me like it’s still recovering from the pandemic. There were handwritten “cash only”signs on the door, and there appeared to be only two staffers which was fine because at 11pm on the night before July 4th we were literally the only customers. Juke boxes not working, bakery case empty. Connecticut really needs 24 hour food options so I hope they are on the upswing here! This could be a real gem of a place if the crowds come back. (I last ate here in 2018...
