Staff is always very friendly. The food is great. I do not usually order pasta with marinara sauce and meatballs am very picky about both and am usually let down. But East Lyme Pizza, has the best in the area. Very flavorful! I will be a repeat customer for sure!

Went to eat in on the 12/21 we got there around 8:20pm they close at 9pm. The lady said did we order take out? I said no that we were going to dine in. She looked at the clock and I asked what time do you close she said 9pm and we could order something to go.There were 4 dirty tables in the restaurant and 40 minutes before closing.We left and went somewhere else. After this experience I will not be back. I used to work in a pizza place and we sat people till we closed. I would not walk in that late and expect service but 40 minutes is more than enough time to order food and eat it before 9pm.Talked to a buddy of mine and he told me that I was better off as there prices went way up and for smaller portions then other places.

I've been going to East Lyme Pizza on and off for about 5 years. Over the years I've had a few skew ups, but just let it go. But tonight I ordered a meatless grinder with specifics, Lettuce, tomato, onion, Provolone and banana peppers. I pick up my grinder drive home and I have nothing what I ordered, I recieved a veggie grinder with fried peppers, mushrooms and onions with lettuce, tomato and cheese. I called to let them know this wasn't what I ordered. I specifily stated I ONLY what this.... The person taking phone calls said thats our Veggie grinder, I'll remake another. Ok My boyfriend goes to picks up the new grinder and the girl that took my order made it a point that the next time I shouldn't order a veggie grinder, this is how we make our veggie grinder here. Ok don't worry I won't take a RUDE person telling me "NEXT TIME DON'T ORDER A VEGGIE GRINDER, WE MAKE THEM OUR WAY" Well I'll take the highway and NEVER return and will let everyone I know and remove East Lyme Pizza from my BNB list of Pizza Restaurants to get pizza for our guests. Negetive word of mouth travels faster then great reviews.

I tried this based on the excellent reviews. Sadly, I was not at all impressed. I ordered a steak & cheese bomb from here & unfortunately was not very impressed with the portion, preparation or flavor. Overall, It just wasn't that good. The portion was skimpy, and it was just lackluster in flavor. The entire execution was pretty underwhelming. The pizzas look like they use Cosco frozen dough which I don't understand & emphatically don't agree with. I will not be ordering a sub from here again it was that bad. I will possibly try another item just to give them a second chance, but I honestly fear the results will be the same.

Would've been good leftovers if I had access to a microwave.Went back the next day and had a roast beef grinder. It was good but nothing to get too excited about.I'll be back in the area a few times for work and I'll stop by here again.

Pizza is good, better than most, but the crust could use a bit more flavor. Sauce is excellent and there is a large selection of toppings.Small and cozy place for an eat-in restaurant.

We ordered the greek salad and a small pizza. Everything was absolutely delicious. We were on vacation and were shocked that the pizza was way better than the pizza we had in Manhattan. I wish we had this place in Texas.
