MOST DELICIOUS DONUTS for the literal best prices I’ve ever seen. The staff is lovely, the shop has a pleasant vibe, and my kids are always thrilled to have Flander’s donuts! It’s cash only (which I forget a lot, that’s why I’m mentioning it) but they have an ATM machine in the shop. So recommended!
friendly service and amazing donuts! you now have a new addict, Thursday is Flanders day for me!!
I'd eat this every day If I could

While I think their donuts and bagels are usually good. Lately, the Boston creme donunts have had limited filling which is depressing if you like Boston creme. Their bagels are good, but I don't care for their regular cream cheese, get the scallion or one of the flavors, they are much better. I will say their apple strudel is one of the best I have had, and I come from a family of bakers where apple pies/strudels are my jam.

My glazed donut was really flat, and flattened even more when I bit into it. Maybe the donut didn’t rise, or rose too much and didn’t have much substance to begin with, and the outer shell was tough and I had to rip it apart. For the price of $1 and change, I can’t be disappointed, but I’d rather spend a little more to have an enjoyable treat. I also went right when they opened so I don’t think it was stale (though it had the texture of a stale donut), they just must not use a lot of yeast.

Used to be the best bakery in south eastern CT. Went straight down hill after the son took over. I have never met him in person because he worked his twin sisters and mother to the bone! He showed up in back to collect "his" cash. That was it. What a crime. Another great small business down the drain.

Never disappoints!! A staple in the community for over 50 years! I have been a regular customer most of that time. The remark about the owner in the earlier review is baseless! He works 6 days a week beginning at 2 AM to make sure everything is daily fresh baked quality!! He also donates $1000's of dollars worth of his baked goods and time to over 100 organizations a year!! He never asks for recognition!! He is carrying on his parents business the same way they did when they started it 52 years ago. His sisters and mom worked hard because they wanted to make sure the business thrived. Not because they were forced labor!! Every bit of hard work and great food is what Flanders Donut and Bake Shop is about.

The beat donuts in, CT and at a time when prices are through the roof, they are very reasonable! I’ve been coming here since I was a boy. The donuts haven’t changed and the line hasn’t gotten any shorter for these amazing donuts. The bagels are also a nice treat. Great bakery.

Nice little bakery in town and they have such a variety of different types of doughnuts, pastries cookies. They have different kind of breakfast sandwiches, bagels, coffee. You name it, they have it. It's my favorite spot but it's cash only.
