Coming here turned around a bad night, we originally tried to get sushi around the corner and it was a horrible experience there. This place definitely a great stop the spiced pear spritz tastes like the holidays. The staff was very polite and professional Ashley’s level of service was astounding she def felt our vibe and took care of us. Albi the buzzer was also very attentive and quick to clear and get us water. The food definitely hit the spot hot and tasty, the frito misto, “yum!” , entrees were great also, a tad under seasoned a little S&P needed but very good and fresh. And the desserts were so yum tiramisu and cheesecake with fresh fruits.

I had the gluten free butternut squash ravioli on Saturday and spent the following 24 hours fighting for my life from food poisoning. I see most reviews are stellar but a few have mentioned cleanliness. At a time when recalls and food borne illnesses are at a high it’s really important to be extra vigilant with food safety.

Great food but the wait was ridiculous. We had a reservation for 6:30pm and had to wait almost 40 minutes for our table. If we have a reservation, why do we have to wait that long? It's the one thing I would recommend they fix.

We were looking forward to eat here.
The food was fine, - not mine because to much bacon grease was on the pasta, -but my company enjoyed theirs and the desserts were really fantastic.
The service has to improve! It took really long time taking our order and also to serve the food. One of the waiter was working as a horse, helping with pick ups, serving guests, bussing tables while a manager kind guy did not do much, but dancing around. The other two waiter also no-stop in and out to the customers and kitchen area.
I understand fresh, delicious food takes time but not over 1.5 hours!
There are many great other restaurants out there, you wont miss out if you skip this one.

Second time around the sword fish was cooked perfectly, we had made 2 entrees dinner orders the sword fish was seriously over cooked., unfortunately my di mar was lacking any kind of flavor, wine sauce was non existent..
I will say it's a pizza place. And you should have the pizza, their sauce is fantastic. Just stay away from the entrees. This was our third time here. Clean, pleasant ambience. Unfortunately regular entrees lack flavor or care.

I brought my bestie to Il Pomodoro for her birthday and we weren’t disappointed! Our waiter, Mauricio, went out of his way to make her something she really wanted. And I was stunned that they had an amazing gluten free menu! Everything was on point, right down to my decaf cappuccino! I will come back - and I will ask for Mauricio again!!

Overall this is your standard Italian restaurant. A sign of a solid restaurant is a menu without too many items on it. They have a great selection but it isn’t overwhelming. I got the pizza which tasted like it was made in a wood oven, which it was. The pizza is your standard sit down Italian restaurant type pizza and there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s also important to note that they are very accommodating if allergies and had a gluten free menu. Lastly the staff were nice and the restaurant itself was clean with an outdoor type area.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free menu available.

Arrived at 3:20pm on Sunday the 8th. Waited for 5 minutes at the host station to be seated. At 3:25pm a couple appeared from around the corner to stand next to me. I assumed that they were waiting for pizzas to go, but no THEY WERE WAITING TO BE SEATED AS WELL. They moved around into the dining area hoping someone would acknowledge them. At approximately 3:28 a woman finally came to check on a pizza order to go and asked if we had been helped. The couple decided to stay but I elected to leave.

I am tall so I was able to see over the counter. I saw some wirkers wearing gloves and others not. I witnessed two gentleman handling meat with their bare hands. Not a restaurant I want to eat at.

The restaurant is very clean, and the food is absolutely amazing!! I usually get the bufala pizza or gnocchi. I usually also buy the olive oil they have for sale at the tables because it’s that good!!
