I’ve driven by multiple times and finally had a chance to stop in for an early dinner. Upon entering the hostess was very pleasant and took me to the front patio area. I also immediately recognized the pomodoro and garlic smell that is distinctive of high end Italian restaurants. The waiter was just as pleasant and recognized that I was from out of town ( must have seen my plates on my car ). The bread and smoky EVOO was a great touch. There were multiple menu items I wanted to try but decided that this visit would be the old faithful Chicken Parm. It absolutely did not disappoint. Arrived perfectly prepared from the kitchen and as accompanied by home made spaghetti. One of the best prepared chicken parms I’ve had on the East coast. Skipped dessert but will be back to try more! Bravo !!

Have been to this restaurant a handful of times now as we are only in the area once in a while. Every time the food is a cut above as is the service. We appreciate their quality and detail made in every dish. Thank you.

Good food but portions are SMALL. And I had to pay an extra 5$ for a pasta dish bc the pasta was homemade.. which I don't mind but the portion was small!

HAve eaten at Il Pomod'oro a few times. Food was good but not worth the price, which was quite high. Wine and drinks way! expensive. Service was adequate but a little slow when busy. Decor quite nice

Highly disappointed being a woodfired pizza house. Thought it was going to be exceptional. They skimped on dough and cheese. Out of the 20 pizza places in our area, ranked one of the lowest.

Been wanting to give this place a shot since we've been looking for a good Italian spot since moving to the area. Went on Saturday night, and the place was pretty full. Our waitress, a tall brunette w/ glasses introduced herself and seemed pleasant, up until we denied any appetizers or cocktails. Her attitude seemed to change entirely after that and was rude for the rest of the night, I guess after she realized she wasn't going to be making more than $10 in tips off of us. We noticed it with the tables she was servicing around us; real pleasant with anyone who ordered cocktails/apps/dessert but not so nice if not. Anything we asked for, she had a real condescending tone. When she delivered the bill, she threw it down on the table without saying a word. Then picked it up without saying a word, that she'd be back with the change, nothing. We gave a $100 bill, the total was $56, and she gives us two 20's back- good thing we had smaller change because we weren't about to tip 35%! We're sober and not huge eaters so we generally just get a meal with a soda. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because the food was really good, and the service from the hostess as well as the guy who brought us our waters was fine as well. Might consider getting takeout again but her service honestly made us extremely uncomfortable.

Stopped by here randomly with my family (wife & 3 kids) on a trip from NY to Boston .. We ordered a large cheese pizza to go. We were eager to get home so we ate it in the car.. The pizza was excellent. We all loved it.. My wife & kids all claimed that it was the best pizza they've EVER had.. It might not have been the best pizza I've EVER had but it's in the top 5. I actually thought the pizza may have even been a little bit undercooked and it was still phenomenal.. My only gripe was that I didn't order 2 or 3 more pizzas for the road and leftovers. During the remaining hour and 45 minute trip from the restaurant to Boston all we talked about was how good that pizza was.. True story...*5-STARS*
