How I have not rated this place yet is beyond me. Been coming here for years and it is consistently the best food in Niantic. Super intimate dining room (perfect for a date night), wonderful service, and the menu is constantly showcasing ingredients from local farms. Definitely worth going to again and again.

It was my first time dining at this restaurant with one of my friends and we had a great experience! Ruby was our waitress and she provided excellent service. The food tasted fresh, light, and delicious. Not to mention, the aesthetic was super cute and welcoming. I can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic, farm to table restaurant!

My wife and I had terrific meals last night at La Belle Aurore. We started with a delicious and refreshing watermelon and feta salad. Perfect for a hot night. My entree was a new idea on the menu, wild mushrooms in a tofu sauce with very thinly sliced zucchini and perfect spices. It was OUTSTANDING! Highly recommend it. My wife had the shrimp kimchi carbonara. Also terrific. The wine list offered nice choices and was reasonably priced. Also some interesting beer choices. La Bella is a hidden gem in downtown Niantic with a nice atmosphere, excellent service and wonderful food. Try it, you’ll love it!!

La Belle Aurore is my absolute favorite restaurant in Niantic. The food is so fresh and delicious and the portions are perfect. I had the market vegetable plate with kale, potatoes, kholrabi, carrots, turnips and local Mystic Seacoast mushrooms and my friend had the mushroom stroganoff— two amazing farm-to-table meals. Our server was friendly and attentive and the owner/chef was very accommodating.

Our 2 Main courses were a mushroom pasta meal and shrimp dinner Both were Outstanding The organic red wine was excellent Our waitress was delightful A whimsical atmosphere that was so inviting. 5 stars across the board Highly recommend

My family frequents the restaurant I would say 8-10 times a year. We have never had a less than perfect experience. The service is always excellent, friendly, and attentive. The food is always delicious and filling. I always get a mimosa and they are to die for. Place is whimsical and has an ethereal vibe.

Went for brunch for 4. We all got something different and everyone left very happy. We were very pleased with the quality and we were so impressed with the bagels we got some to go! Coffee was very good and the service was fast and friendly. The decor was very organic and comfortable- unique and cozy. We will be back!

What an incredible meal with the most deliciously fresh ingredients!!! Atmosphere was lovely and quiet enough to hear each other at the table. The chef even came to the table to say hello!!! This place is an absolute treasure!
Pulled pork bagel sandwich was mediocre, bagel not toasted. Sent back to be toasted. Very small portion of side home fries 3-4 and they were cold. Two for breakfast with two cocktails $76. Will not return.

We had a wonderful experience. Farm to table fresh. The shrimp and crabmeat chowder was the best we have ever had. Made with fresh cream and butter and lots of shrimp and real sweet crabmeat. (Many places add whitefish but this was all wonderful crabmeat). The flatbread and the coconut curry dish were also spectacular and we also enjoyed them for lunch the next day. It was nice and slow and relaxed, with a wonderful atmosphere and nice music. Very pleasant servers and atmosphere. Thank you for a lovely evening. Will definitely be back!
