Food was just ok. Their campfire chicken is usually really good but this time was ok. They were out of a few meals, my husband's food was warm and dry. The waitress refused to substitute mashed potatoes for anything else. It's usually better but eh this time.

Thomas the cashier at the front was super rude with us while we were trying shopping for our little girl. Waitress and food were delicious!!! Except for this unfortunate situation with this guy at the end of our visit. Thank you to the manager who listened and took care of the situation.

It’s a Cracker Barrel and thus you get what you expect from this chain restaurant… great music, a rustic seating area amongst antique decor, and solidly tasty food.

However, upon this visit the food came out almost cold. There was a medium amount of patrons inside so it’s not like they were slammed. Food was excellent quality but lukewarm to cold. That’s why it’s not a 5 star review.

The food here is not up to Cracker Barrel standards. My server was actually rude and the bathroom was not clean. Every other Cracker Barrel I've been to was a solid 5 star. This place was a shocking disappointment. Sad.

The waitress did not listen to what we had to order. She ordered the wrong food for my wife. She did get the right food after a couple minutes. The waitress did not ask if she wanted gravy on her potatoes there was gravy on them. She did apologize. I was ashamed, though that the manager did not come over and apologize or even ask for anything else that we would need. I’ve had this problem here once before will not be going back to the east Windsor Cracker Barrel. I am a long time member and have gone through several of them throughout my years. I do not recommend this place. My wife was not even done her food yeah, and the waitress was already pushing for dessert and slam the bill on the table that was uncalled for

It took over 30 minutes to get the order taken, and then apps and dinner were thrown on the table after a 10-minute wait. The dining room wasn't busy, and it was after 6pm too.
I usually love CB and this was one of the worse times too.

I like to think of myself as the president of the Cracker Barrel fan club along with my friends. I have been at leaft 50 tones to cracker barrel in Windsor. The food is freat and the store is wonderful. Today was a little unusual my server name was Maddie she was a polite young lady but i feel she sort of rushed me to pay my bill and leave. I kotoced on my bill wasnt correct i ordered CFS with 3 sides. Instead o got 2 sides od coleslaw and dumplings and a seperate charge for the baked potato. The billl was $26.71 no biggie but its a server i wouldn't want again because of th inaccuracy of the bill and the rushing. Yes , i still love Cracker Bareel maybe better luck next time. 😉

Breakfast was great and staff was friendly and was nice let them know I use to come with my dad for breakfast and they brought me a cup of coffee to sit there for him. Was greatly appreciated of that.

I was accompanied by my 88 y/o mom and my 5 y/o neurodivergent (autism) grandson and specifically asked for a table that was out of the way of customer/staff traffic, particularly for my grandson who is easily distracted and overstimulated by activity. My mom, on the other hand though looks very good for her age, is yet, 88 y/o and needs walking assistance. We were seated in the very front where it was crazy busy and of course, my grandson became overstimulated and irritated which resulted in him acting out. This resulted in the staff speaking to me about him obstructing the staff's pathway by standing in the way of foot traffic. I responded with my initial request. I was told that I would have to wait until a more desirable seat became available. I stressed my concerns about my mom being unable to continue walking, but standing?! and my neurodivergent grandson who had already become irritated by the foreseeable overstimulation was now very hungry as well. He understands that when seated at a restaurant, food is coming very shortly. This did not happen in a timely fashion, therefore... Tables were not being attended to as stated or as expected. It was not until one of the servers took note of us and asked if we were seated at this dirty table, we explained the situation, and how the hostess was aware of our sitting there, but was making no strides in having someone attend to the table. So, She returned with eating utensils, wiped off the table, apologized with explanations, and waited on us. If not for my elderly mom who had her heart set on a particular dish and my living out of state, I would have left long before this story got this long. The food was not the same as I remembered Cracker Barrel to be! Totally disappointed! Had my food wrapped and ended up throwing it out! (OH. Did I mention we are non-white? Not sure if that had anything to do with anything but when you're non-white you know when you're reminded that you are! ijs...

Waited over an hr to get our food, then it was cold and many orders were incorrect. Issue was not waitress, it was kitchen. She was very apologetic and close to crying because of sll the issues. Mgr gave us 20% off bill, should have been more or free.
