Business appeared closed down! I drove an hour or so off my planned route because I had eaten there a number of years back and the food was great and that is why I was returning. There should be something on their website to say that they are closed, etc. Golden Irene's I did not see that you were temporarily closed, if I had I certainly wouldn't have driven that far out of my way! I changed my review to 5 stars relating back to visit a number of years ago because when I was there the food and service were outstanding and I was expressed enough to return last week in my travels from Virginia to Maine! I can assure you when I travel here again I most certainly will stop in again!

Hands down our favorite restaurant in the enfield/Windsor area. Their pizzas, their pastas, their apps, everything is always perfect. And wonderful stuff as well. If you haven’t been- it’s a MUST try! 10/10

Very friendly staff and EXCELLENT pizza. I wish they could deliver, but it's close, so not a huge deal. The food definitely makes up for it.
Food has been great everything I've went and great service as well, must stop if you're in the area. Salmon one of my favorites.

This Margherita pizza was so dry, cold, & hard one could've easily mistaken it for a bit of cobblestone or brick siding. I'm unsure what happened here I will never be back.

You must try this place. I Had the pot roast with risotto and my wife had the chicken parmigiana. The pot roast dinner was so good I told the waitress to tell the chef and owner it was fantastic! My wife's dinner was so so, but that is just because how she likes her pasta more well done, and not al dente. But the chicken parmigiana itself was good. The waitress and the floor manager did treat us very well too, with checking up on us and apologized for how the pasta is cooked. This is still a 5 star review because of the great food and the great hospitality. Thank you very much.

We went here on a Friday night around 6, so we expected a wait, which was fine. It took about 15-20 minutes to get a table. Once seated a waitress came over and took drink orders fairly quickly. Drinks took about 15 minutes to get, which again being a Friday with the bar being crowded wasn't a surprise. I ordered the chicken parm which came with homemade pasta. Which once it came was very good, tender chicken, pasta was great. Prices are reasonable and good selection of different dishes. The main issue and why they lost a star is that I can understand staffing shortages and taking longer than usual (food took about an hour and a half!). However, we were not offered so much as bread while we're were waiting, after about an hour we asked for some bread for the table and only one somewhat large roll was brought over for 5 people. I have been here once before and it was better service, so I couldn't knock it down another star to 3. Hopefully they get things together better than that night. If it were my first experience there I may not have gone back.
