While we had a very enjoyable dining experience we did not enjoy our entrees. The special pork dish was on the tough side and the veal Picata was extremely "leomony". to the point that I could only eatd 1 of the 4 pieces However the Calimari was wonderful. We will continue to dine at the Nutmeg as it has great ambience and character and usually great food. We must have just hit an off night from yhe kitchen.

Excellent menu to select from, wound up going for the 3 course prix fixe. French Onion soup, shrimp scampi, and desert. The others in my party did the same, all selecting a different entree. All dinners were fantastic. The ambiance was great and Barb our server, was over the top! Very attentive to our service. Great Restaurant, we truly enjoyed the evening experience.

Only knock was that they were out of veal. Everything else was just a delight. Excellent food and service and a nice quaint atmosphere. Too bad that we were only visiting so we could only go once.

I had the veal parm and my wife had the chicken picada. Both were excellent. The parm was served with penne past and there was plenty of sauce. The picada was served with mashed potato and mixed vegetables. There was a marvelous lemon sauce on the chicken. Both were so large that we were able to bring home the leftovers and have another complete meal.

We really enjoyed our meal. The updates to the restaurant are lovely. The server was very helpful with my food allergy requirements and friendly about it. The food itself was delicious and plentiful, and creative. We both enjoyed our meal very much and we will be back!

We've been coming to Nutmeg for years and have never been disappointed. There's a lot to choose from. Great value for your money too. We love it and always make it a point to come here several times a year. Highly recommend.

This was our first visit to Nutmeg . The food and service were absolutely incredible and the menu choices spot on . Only down and it is only a tiny thing but the restaurant on a Saturday night was empty for a 7 pm seating, thought that was just a bit odd . All that said however we will absolutely return for the amazing food , menu variety and service .

We were the first seated for the brunch. The sound was obviously really quiet since they had just opened. The wait staff was very attentive initially but when a large party was seated it became hard to get their attention. The food was good and plentiful.

Disappointing Dining Experience: I recently had the misfortune of dining at Nutmeg Restaurant, and I must say that it was an extremely disappointing experience. From the moment I walked in, I was met with a lackluster atmosphere. The menu boasted a variety of dishes, but the quality of the food was abysmal. The ingredients seemed stale, the flavors were bland, and the presentation was unappealing. It was clear that no effort went into the preparation or the taste of the dishes. To make matters worse, the entree was disappointingly overcooked, leaving me feeling unsatisfied and ripped off. The service was lackluster. The staff members appeared disinterested, and lacked basic etiquette. It took an excessive amount of time to simply receive bread. The waitstaff showed no concern for our dissatisfaction. To add insult to injury, the prices at this restaurant were high for the quality of food and service provided. It was clear that the establishment was more interested in making a profit than in providing a satisfactory dining experience to its customers. In conclusion, my visit to Nutmeg Restaurant was a complete disaster. The lack of food quality, abysmal service, and overpriced menu left me deeply unsatisfied. I would strongly advise anyone considering dining at this restaurant to think twice and seek alternative options. There are far better establishments out there.

We went for Sunday brunch buffet on our anniversary. The setting/service/and noise level were great. Very nice banquet hall/wedding venue vibes. Our servers were awesome. The food was only OK. I have allergies so there were limited options, but it was by no means bad. As a buffet there were plenty of servings of everything. My husband, who has no allergies, said the food was basic but ok. Some things were obviously brought in from outside (such as sheet cake) but nothing was inedible.

Food was very good, quiet Wednesday night, but was very nice to be able to quietly have a conversation with my son as he starts his last year of college. I will return to this hidden gem.

I have only ever been here for Sunday Brunch Buffet (3rd time now), and it has never disappointed. The staff is always attentive and on point, whether to refill your cup of coffee or to move your plate so you can go up for seconds. You cant mess up eggs or bacon and they never have. Hope to one day get there for dinner. But Sunday Brunch is the place to be.

Absolutely lovely dinner on a Friday night, great service, great food, and very few tables so it was a nice, quiet, and enjoyable meal! I'd highly recommend this restaurant to everyone, you get it all here! Definitely a hidden gem!

Unfortunately I was looking forward to eat the short rib ravioli but it tasted industrialized and the sauce straight out from a can. The Lobster Grilled Cheese was large and a great amount of lobster in it. Unfortunately the Lobster was overcooked, therefore very dry. I also ordered a NY steak which was cooked perfectly! However the mashed potato was bland. The ambiance was cozy and family friendly. Plus prices were very fair!

We went to Nutmeg on MothersDay. It was noisy and crowded. The food was very good and there was plenty of it. Drinks were large and included in the brunch. I think on any other weekend, the ambiance would be fine. I enjoyed the brunch despite the noise and confusion.
