I love this restaurant. We went today, after not being there in over 15 years. The chopped beef steak with sautéed peppers and onions was delicious.
I'll be back for the liver, bacon, and onions soon.

The house special calzone is my wife's and my favorite dish. We love the sauce that is provided. The service is excellent. I don't understand why the other reviewer said they were rude. I have never seen anyone working there as anything but friendly.The only negative I have is that the parking lot could use more light and fill in the pot holes.

Been here many times and finally decided to review. I love the classic mom and pop feel this place offers and the made-to-order feel, and homemade taste. This place is small town Italian restaurant feel, laid back, and old school in the best way. It is not for those who like updated, pretentious, fancy chains who pretend to be authentic.

This is a solid option for pizza and Italian-American food in the area. The quality is nice, portions are usually generous, and prices are a little lower than most in town. The restaurant is older and could use some visual updates, but on the plus side it is large enough for parties while being in a quiet location. Service has been quick and friendly. Overall Astro's is better than most. I'd recommend.

Absolutely the best Pizza in the area. Portions are huge! It's always fresh, workers & chef r kind. Prices reasonable. Inside is spacious but a tad dark. However; I never thought that while dining in. I tend to p/u my orders nowadays. They have begun serving well done pizza so I always let them know I don't want mine well done w/ small areas of burnt cheese. I also always ask for a pie cut at any pizza/Italian restaurant. This is actually a Greek restaurant & the menu is impressive. Never disappointed except once ,(well done pie & they remade it). Serves lunch w/ slightly smaller portions and less $. They have a thin crust that's buttery. Large parking lot. Nice selection of desserts too. Far Far better than Sofia's abt a mile so. Less pricey with far larger portions. Less noisy too. Serves ? including by the pitcher ! Off exit 46 on I91 No. , Across the street from the Mobile gas station. Great place for a large group! Their sandwiches/grinders are huge! Highly recommend!They are closed on Tuesdays!
Vegetarian options: Numerous salads and they are huge! Vegetarian pizzas, and many other options w/o meat.
Parking: A bus can easily park and RVs. Parking lot is unusually large.
Kid-friendliness: I always took my sons here when they were younger. Other families were there too. Has highchairs.
Wheelchair accessibility: Doors aren't automatic but they are double wide. Handicapped parking too. I'm sure you would be offered help. Kind people & family oriented & owned.
