My daughter took me here a few times....I got the meatball sub. I am reediting my post here because I was very disappointed. I got the sub each time because the roll was the perfect size. Not too bready....and full size smaller meatballs that were whole that fit the sub perfectly. I went last night for the first time in a while and was so looking forward to it. I was very disappointed. They changed to roll.... too much bread and the meatballs were a little bigger but cut in half. Not happy whatsoever. I will not be coming back.
Place is amazing, Food is great from the chic parm to the pizza.Staff accommodated my party of 18 no problem. Can't say enough good things about this restaurant they never disappoint.

Got the angel hair alfredo and I would've rather eaten my 18 year old sweaty gym socks. This pasta tasted like soiled milk and anchovies combined. Very disappointed, I didn't think it was possibly to screw up pasta - but I was so wrong. 0/10 do not
Buona Vita has been my favorite place to eat for many years. I do however have a concern as of the last year or so. For year's their grinders stood out, far above the dozens of pizza/ grinder shops in town. Within the past year or more they've switched to the SAME basic Italian grinder roll you can get anywhere, including the convenience store next to Buona. In my opinion the grinders are now just like every other grinder in Connecticut. Sorry guys!
