The food was great and the staff were wonderful. My personal favorite was the hibachi, and I loved that is was at no extra cost. All around great.

I got dine in and the food came out extremely quickly and was really good . I don't understand why it's so empty. No one is there but the food is good and family owned.

The quality went down hill. I had to cut my wontons in my wonton soup with a knife and fork. They were hard with hardly anything in it.The boneless spare ribs were bone dry and my egg role was old. I ended up throwing it out. Smh. The next time I think about ordering food from here I'm better off just tossing money out the window.

Came here after a long day at Six Flags with my family of four, mainly because my daughter wanted Chinese food for diner. I checked Google Maps and it said they close at 9:30 PM. Walk through the door at 8:40 PM and was immediately told that they could not seat us because they were closing at 9:30. We chose this one instead of other Chinese restaurants in the area because it has a sit down area. We did not want to eat in the hotel room.

Wanted something spicy and this was the only Asian food in a 2 mile radius. We were on a long drive and didn't want to go hunting for another restaurant. So Cheng's Chinese Garden it was.
The menu had the usual American Chinese fare (General Tsos, Beef and Broccoli etc.) but there was a section that looked promising - the names of the dishes hinted at the more traditional Chinese dishes.
We order egg drop soup and hot and sour soup to start. They didn't disappoint. The main course was a dry beans dish and a pork and cabbage "spicy" dish.
The dry beans dish was just outstanding! Such a simple dish. Prepared with some pickles (not the ones you are thinking of) that added a bit of extra taste - made the dish worth recommending. Definitely try it.
The pork dish was tasty but more sweet than spicy. Not overly sweet like sweet and sour dishes but unmistakably sweet. We asked for some chillies sauce on the side but that didn't help the dish much. It was not bad by any means. Just not the spicy we were craving.
Service was fast and friendly. The soup came out non sooner than we finished ordering. The restaurant is clean and the decoration in unmistakably Chinese. If some one walked you in there with blindfolds on and you would know instantly what to expect when your blindfolds came off :-).

Always reliable. My "go to" place for Chinese cuisine to go. Always an efficient staff, tasty food, well prepared and ready & hot when you stop to pick it up. I recommend keeping a menu in your car & call in your Take Out order when you are 20 minutes away. Good folks. ?
Vegetarian options: Excellent selection of mixed vegetables nicely prepared. Don't forget to get a side of veggies!

The dining area was sort of dim and damp. Server was friendly and quick. Food was meh and weird. I got vegetarian dumplings and the dumplings originally came out fried but only on one side. After requesting both sides be cooked, the texture of the wrapping and filling still left much to be desired. Maybe steamed dumpling would’ve been better.

Every time I get a meal here, the staff are very quick and the food is delivered promptly. The prices are good and that's with it recently going up in price.

Something is different…We order from Chengs about once a month. Food is usually very good. However tonight we were very disappointed. Fried dumplings were greasy and the filling was not up to standard - tough and chewy like a cheap grade of meat and missing the usual spices. yuck. Didn’t include the extra sauce we requested. Husband got chicken chow main and pork fried rice and they did not include duck sauce or crunchy noodles. At one point he said “I don’t know what I’m eating…”. Completely out of the norm for Chengs, but if the food is this poor next time we won’t be going back.

It was disgusting the chicken chow main was salty, fried rice was not fully cooked, the beef teriyaki was not fully cooked and the boneless spare ribs did not have that b-b- q crisp and the duck sauce tasted like the package sauce. Did not even took left overs home.
