The food is good enough to drive out of my way to pick up. It’s just unfortunate when the customer feels like they’re imposing when placing an order. They literally could double their sales by being pleasant and asking “is there anything else?” Instead of a blank stare.

Great place to get jerk chicken, beef patties or any of the common Jamaican cuisine items you might enjoy.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants but the last few times seriously why is my chicken always pink that is annoying I should drive up there and get my money cause I’m at work and I’m hungry and you keep serving me jerk chicken that’s pink come on. I shouldn’t have to go to Hartford to get proper Jamaican food. Let’s be for real.

I wish I could give this restaurant a 0 the food is over priced, bought some oxtails and rice & peas it’s the worst food I’ve ever had. I would have been better off buying a burger. Won’t be going back there, I tried supporting my fellow countryman but dam they disappointed me.

I wouldn’t recommend their food to a homeless dog.

1Love's food is legit. Stew pork, jerk pork and chicken are moist and flavorful. They serve several different patties which are so flaky and good. The portions are great and the prices are very fair. The woman (owner?) is always so friendly. We can't wait to try more of her dishes.

One of the best family owned Jamaican spots to eat at. Everyone there is so welcoming and the food is delicious. Highly recommend the oxtail with rice and peas.

The flavors were amazing! Very rich, well balanced flavors that stayed satisfying for the entire meal! The portions were generous. The people were extremely kind. They make their OWN seasonings and you can tell the difference. I am gluten free and they were very accommodating. The fried plantains were incredible! Perfectly cooked and almost like a pastry. The oxtails were absolutely incredible. We'll be coming back!
