I’m usually cautious about bakeries with large selections — it makes me wonder how fresh everything can really be. I recently stopped in looking for a birthday cake and was pleasantly surprised.
I found a beautiful Tiramisu cake and asked when it had been baked. They assured me it was made fresh that morning. Although skeptical, I decided to give it a chance and I’m so glad I did.
The cake was stunning and absolutely delicious. Each layer was moist, with espresso-soaked sponge balanced by light, smooth cream. The flavors were authentic, not too sweet, and you could truly taste the freshness. It didn’t have that dense, refrigerated feel — it was airy and full of flavor.
The service was excellent too — friendly, patient, and attentive, making the whole experience even better.
Overall, I was thoroughly impressed. If you’re looking for a cake that’s both beautiful and genuinely fresh, paired with great service, I highly recommend giving this bakery a try. I’ll definitely be back!

I feel like I’m shopping in Little Italy in the Bronx or Manhattan. Family run says it all. Great pizza by the slice and a freezer full of to go meals. Plus cakes and pastries that are top notch. Take a single serving or call ahead for the full cake. The one time there was an issue and I can’t even remember what it was. They cleared it up without question and dignity like our grandparents would truly one of the few eclectic locations in The Enfield area.

Always spoils me with cannolis since we met years later, I found this place and it is like heaven there is so many flavors. I tried to Twix the raspberry in the original. I have to go with the original being the best, but they were all absolutely delicious.

I’m embarassed to say I’ve lived in Enfield almost 4 years and I’m just now discovering Russo’s!! Not sure how that happened but I’m upset with myself. This bakery/pizzeria is incredible. Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. We also got several apple cider donuts, frozen meals and cookies. All the food is terrific. The staff working there was super friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to return many more times. Thank you Russo’s. Cheers
