I went here on a lunch date with my son last week. Upon sitting down we were greeted by staff and she informed unfortunately most of the kitchen was down. She could only offer about four things on the menu but the kitchen was currently being fixed and it would take about 10 minutes. I said no problem as I was planning on having a drink anyways and having quality conversations with my son. After receiving our drinks which my son thought his orchata was great…my michelada came without beer bottle. She said she poured in the whole beer. Michelada tasted nasty. Juice must have been old or imitation but it was just nasty. At that point I knew I would not even try and wait for food…if michelada wasn’t good in my mind food wouldn’t be either so the experience was ruined and so we paid drinks and left. Waitress tried to convince us to give them a try once they are fully up and running but it was too late. I am so picky with restaurants. Also not one Spanish person worked at this “authentic” Mexican restaurant.

Great food, great service, most authentic in the area. They have items in the menu that other Mexican restaurants don't have. I suggest the sope and the menudo.
Fish Tacos were very good; whole fish was ok; Do Not order the munudo soup. Very authentic restaurant that you might not like.

The food here is amazing! I got the strawberry cream french toast and it was delicious! The fruit was fresh and the cream was so sweet. No need for additional syrup. Their fried home fries are so good as well! Price is really good for the food quality and portions!
