Would recommend this place hands down. My kids love to go for ice cream or bubble tea. Great selection of fine chocolates. Friendly service. Perfect after dinner at Scotch Plains Tavern, the restaurant next-door.

Cute shop with a wide variety of Swiss and Belgian chocolates. There is an entire room dedicated to kids with candy and games.

Delicious chocolate!!! Love their coffee and it's a good price too! The workers are always so kind and cheerful when I go there! I highly recommend!

There’s such a variety of yummy treats at Essex Chocolates! I always find something to enjoy for myself or a gift to buy for a special occasion. They have a nice range of items from homemade to name brands to novelty. The handicap entrance is next to Scotch Plains Tavern; the entrance just outside the chocolate shop has a few steps. Plenty of parking on both sides. Check out the local handmade gifts or just stop in for a beverage or ice cream!
