My Wife and I were hungry on a quick stop off rt 9 and stumbled upon this gem of a town. After looking around we settled on a quick bite at olive oyl's. What looks like a converted service station, is a delicious eatery with quick fare perfect for lunch. I didn't read the whole menu but would definitely stop by again when we are in the area. Pictured was their two specials one was a meatloaf sandwich and the other was a grilled cheese. Great little sandwich shop in Essex. Little on the pricy side but quality of food was very good. Workers seemed to be having fun so that was also great to see. Will go back for sure! Would recommend to anyone who loves good lunch food.
Ideal place for a quick lunch or breakfast in this picturesque New England town. Sandwiches alter inventive and very tasty. Deserts and baked goods looked great. Staff was very friendly. A great find.
