Had a long horrible day. Drove my bicycle to Old Saybrook to secure a hacked bank account.
Actually got a ride back to Scotch Plains Tavern by the Awesome police force in Old Saybrook.
These guys are great!
Ended up at Essex Plaza across from the minivan which currently is my mode de transport.
Stopping at this Subway was nothing short of amazing.
The wonderful woman working there, Sabel, gifted me with a rood beer and allowed me to plug my EcoFlow River 2 into the power outlet. Even though it was only for about a half hour, the power bank now provides me with enough juice to leave this review.
The place is clean, smells great and althout very small provides a fantastic atmosphere of honest caring.
Felt 100% at home in this tiny restauraunt.
Would endorse this place without any doubt of the consideration of the wonderful people who work there.
If you dig Subway food, then this place will satisfy you.

Ordered a turkey bacon n avocado n got home to eat no avocado that's why I ordered it.
Super friendly, always has parking available - I’ve come here regularly since moving to town in 2020 and they helped me out big time recently when I placed an order on DoorDash (need to stop doing that) and canceled it by accident. DoorDash only refunded me $7 of the $50 order. They still made the sandwiches for me. Thank you 🙏
I wish I could give this no stars. Just gross.
My order was made good and I know my sandwich is complex but the lady seemed mad asking me ok anything else when i said at the register I wanted to try the new pretzel thing she rolled hey eyes said something in Spanish to her coworker and went in back.. I felt unwelcome and uncomfortable next time go to old saybrook maybe they won't feel so offended by my order. .

Used to go here for years. Recently heard that the owner hates America and Americans despite owning his American business over 20 plus years. He says us Americans are greedy for trying to use a coupon. Key word here being Americans. Not people, not customers, but Americans. Dudes natrualized as an American. Question is do you trust somebody who hates you to not mess with the food? Or use the bathroom and wash their hands?

I use the app to order prob 1 maybe 2 times a week and there isn’t much food around here.. I work up road. They can never follow directions. They for sure must not have a toaster. You try to say something to them they look at you funny and barely understand you and you can sure as hell not understand them…. Anyways this was suppose to be TOASTED!!

Full service Subway sandwich restaurant for take out with one table for dining in. It's pretty easy in, easy out unless you arrive around their peak lunch time. Service is efficient. I like to order their cookie platter for work parties - it's always a big hit!
They stopped taking coupons. Too bad. Now, none of the Subways in the area do.

Extremely rude from start to finish avoid at all cost
Horribly run subway. Nothing is fresh, hardly any options. They slap your sandwich together with no smile or hey thanks for stopping in. Definitely one of the worst subways… any other one I’ve been with in is so much better. My boyfriend and I want to take over this location one day!!!
Very frugal with their portions. The meat wasn't a full scoop even though he said it was and when I asked for more vegetables he throws 2 pieces and gave me attitude when I asked for more. Avoid at all costs
I ordered curbside pick up. I have 30 minutes to travel from one office to another and eat my lunch so yes curbside pick up so I can get it quick. I called as soon as I got there parked right at the door she said gimme a sec. I waited 10 minutes! There was two costumers and two workers and my sandwich was sitting there for 10 minutes. I walked in there and they put the empty cup in the bag, weren’t even gonna get me my soda. So not only did I wait 10 minutes before going in myself but I had to fill up my soda cup as well cuz my order wasn’t ready. She didn’t even apologize to me for the wait. Never again will I go back that’s the most disrespected I’ve felt from costumer service in my life.
