((NEW HAVEN 11/29/2026)) This was a truly disappointing experience. When we first walked in the lady behind the counter wouldn't even look at us when asking for a table. Once we were seated she kept rolling her eyes as we ordered and got my order wrong. There was another couple that came in after us and once there were seated she never went back to take their orders so they left. I regret going here, we came from out of town and it very much felt like we were not welcome. I still tipped and said thank you after and she would even look in our direction when taking payment. Later that night my husband and i were sick to our stomachs for 2 days.....NEVER AGAIN.

Delicious. The four dishes I ordered were all very good. Tiger skin and chicken feet, cold jellyfish, spicy fried fish dip, and brown sugar glutinous rice cake.

Really disappointed in our first visit here. Scallion pancakes greasy. Spicy beef bao buns oddly seasoned (like adding the “spice” a complete afterthought. Buns served cold and stiff. Soup dumplings steamed too close to each other - they stuck together and ripped apart during service sending what little soup there was down to the plate below. Chili wontons a complete disaster. Won tons disintegrating into the uninspired chili oil. White pepper chicken fried beyond edibility. Don’t waste your money here - head to Shu. I’m sorry I gave them a try.

Great food, wish the price was a little better
Food was terrible. Would rather eat McDonald’s. Looks great on tik tok and social media. Place is booty

Super confused about these reviews as the food did not live up to the hype.
The soupy dumplings were the worst I’ve ever had, skin is way too thick. I can get better soup dumplings out of the frozen section of the Asian super market.
Bao buns with beef was a bun with hamburger helper. Not sure wtf this dish is, it shouldn’t be in the menu. We didn’t eat any of it.
Kung pao chicken is not fresh chicken. Truly subpar sauce and chicken quality.
Wontons in spicy oil were crunchy for some reason.
Not crazy here, I eat Szechuan style at another restaurant in MA. I did take a look at other Chinese patrons and they were all eating the fish. So maybe the fish is their specialty???
Also service is horrible. Waitress was about to clear our food but hadn’t delivered our last dish. Not a single dish was served hot. To their credit they did take the dish we returned off the bill.

I've eaten here many times and the quantity has obviously become less. Has the chef changed? In the past, the price was the same and I packed it back. Now the price is the same and it's still not enough.
