Food (vegetarian) was nice and freshTimings are 7am to 2 pm. There is only 1 chef. You can eat outside as well as inside. Lot of parking space available because it is inside the dialysis building of Uconn.Costed me $14 for wrap, fries and juice.

I love having breakfast here. The club sandwich are great!

Good food, great customer service and friendly staff. Owner is a good friend of mine and is an amazing person, he makes conversation with his customers, and is a real people person.

Hans & fritz deli has great food, good people. Different sense of humor . The people who work there have a special relationship with their regular customers . If you do not know this then you may be caught off guard. I can assure you the people are not racist. Very jovial fun bubbly workers/personality.The cashier joked with customers and has inside jokes with a lot of them. She has said she been there for over a decade and know the people in the building very well. The owner is always very funny, silly and tries to give everyone a good experience .Try it out, enjoy food, laughs and conversation.

Not a fan, corned beef was horrible

The breakfast is great, both tasting and in price. The cheeseburgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders and philly steak and cheese are some of my lunch faves. The French fries are always perfect. What I recommend most though, are the homemade soups.. Jim's chicken noodle soup has saved my life on more than one occasion :)

I was pretty impressed with how friendly they are. The food is prepared fresh in front of your eyes. Had a great experience, highly recommended.

This place is great always friendly and comically inclined! Love his food simple and tasty! If you have a weak stomach for jokes and personal conversations you should probably go eat at mcdonalds! And to some of the comments I'm reading in here I really dont understand how anyone happens to be white! Also dont believe there is such a thing as just white! See I paint my walls white. I've never seen an actual white or black person! I think some people are just color blind! Also I take the comment " happens to be white" as a fascist remark!

I will never patronize this establishment where the owner as well as some of the employees, which happen to be white, believe and are comfortable enough to say around customers that "lighter is better anyway."..in regards to race. Referring to the fact that a black employee was not at work and was bold enough to repeat it when questioned about it by a customer. Only to state it was a joke when the customer became upset. I hope the employee knows the type of people she's working for & with.

Wife was eating there today and the manager/owner? ; was having a conversation with a young white male costumer. The conversation was loud enough for others to hear. I guess the West Indian lady who normally works there was not working, in her place was a Polish lady ( how the owner/manager) described her... And the young white male kept saying that “lighter is better anyway”.. the manager/owner seem to be in agreement and repeating it as well...Wife actually addressed the manager/owner and they laughed .. saying they were joking... Very unprofessional and offensive!!!! Will not spent my dark skin money there... smh

Fast service and good food.

Food was ok. Had the veggie burger and it's your “run of the mill” patty. Bread and the rest was standard. Price was ok. Bring cash ... now the staff, super cool characters!!! The cook is full of energy and jazz. Lol! He'll impress you flirting and dancing, singing even. A real treat! His counter is a vibrant cashier aiding him and adding to the experience. Worth the visit for sure.

Such a wonderful breakfast. Portions are very big, prices are great and such wonderful service.
