This was very disappointing and uncomfortable. I placed a large order of 16 breakfast sandwiches over the phone for a corporate meeting and decided to go with our local hbc. I walked in they asked me if I was waiting for an order I gave my name and one of the people in the front went to check/prepare it. While I was waiting for this order there were about 3-4 people waiting. The employee goes to the customers sorry it may take a while there’s someone that ordered 16 sandwiches (me). Then goes since I’ve been here no one has ever ordered so many sandwiches laughs and says I guess they are good and continues to laugh. All while I’m standing right there. As she finishes making fun of the situation the other employee comes up and hands me the sandwiches and every person in that room felt uncomfortable. Instead of an apology she looks at me and says nice jacket. Needless to say I will not be continuing to come here. It was 140$ order. The colleague had short purple hair and piercings. I would suggest telling her not to speak about customers if she doesn’t know who is in the building. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable for giving someone business before.

Amazing breakfast sandwiches and friendly service. Had the egg & piggy sandwich, honestly can't recall ever having a better breakfast sandwich... Phenomenal is an understatement. Buddy had the HBC which he had similar feelings about lol... Love the old time feel of the building and Emily was the sweet icing on the cake. Can't go wrong here.

I’ve often driven past Hartford Baking Co and finally had the chance to stop in! It was a great place to catch up with my mother-in-law, with a nice seating area upstairs. They had a great variety of fall specials. I’m not usually a big coffee drinker, but the maple one was nice and sweet to cut the bitterness of the coffee, and I really enjoyed it! My husband loved his cappuccino and my mother-in-law was a fan of the pumpkin iced latte. The pastries were all fresh too. The staff handled the volume of customers well, and they were welcoming. We’ll definitely be back!

I've gone here twice, both times I've been overcharged and given the wrong food. Rediculous. Don't go here. Nardelli's and rebel dog is right up the street much better food and workers.

Sometimes we drive 45 minutes to get breakfast here! E-Bat is my fave sans bacon. The coffee and bake goods are delightful
Nice-looking spot with a clean interior, but the pastry didn’t deliver. The croissant was dry and bland — ended up tossing most of it. Not worth the detour unless you’re already heading toward the highway, since the divided road makes access awkward. Won’t be rushing back
