Dirty tables poor service not worth the price. What is happening here it use to be great. Very few customers. Guess that’s it for me.

After years of loving the Nordstrom Cafe in Norfolk, visiting this location has been a shocking disappointment. First of all, the menu is very limited and unappealing. It's like going to a hospital cafeteria that is out of everything you want. The location is small, run down, and understaffed. They ask for the tip when you order. How can you tip for service you haven't even had? Best not to tip at all because the service here has been awful every time we've been there. Slow and rude waiters are apparently acceptable to the management here. Food is, eventually, just plopped down carelessly on your table. Glasses and silverware have been dirty. We've never enjoyed anything we have eaten here. Just keep waking.

The food was delicious! I tried their pulled pork sliders and my wife hard their salad with salmon on it. The banana muffin had a great cream frosting as well. Would highly recommend for their food.

The cafe is really nice with quite a few great options. We have never been disappointed eating here. We had the turkey and chicken sandwiches very tasty. Honestly for this mall this is a go to place.

The food was good, the service was good, the atmosphere is nice, but the servers are getting seriously screwed out of their tip potential. Since they have you close the check at the counter and the servers have no control of the table. It's a shame to be quite honest.

My experience at Marketplace Cafe was great. I was initially suprised becuase i shopped in Nordstrom many times and this was my first time noticing the Cafe . Upon entering I was greeted by a hello and two smiles from a young lady and young man both wearing glasses. I took a second to look at the many choices displayed. All of the choices looked so delicious so it was hard to choose but i finally decided that I wanted a turkey and swiss panini. The young man wrote my order on a slip and gave me the slip attached to a number stand. He then told me to enjoy and proceed to the check out area. As I proceed to the checkout area I notice the cafe had many big windows with stunning views of the city. I went to the cash register to pay and a very polite african american young lady cashed me out . I then stood there looking out the windows at the amazing views as i waited for my food. I wish I could of sat down and ate but sadly I had to return to work shortly. My food came out quicker than expected . The panini was delicious, I was very pleased with my experience at the Marketplace Cafe and will definitely be coming back.
