We haven't been in about 5 years basically because we live about 45 minutes away. We've always loved eating there when we lived closer. A little pricey but delicious. Service very good. We wanted to have a nice "romantic" dinner and it was perfect. Something a little more special than our usual dining out. The baby artichokes were amazing as were the clams casino. Then we shared the fettucine "something" that was a special which we thought was going to be like fettucine alfredo but there was no cream in it but european butter and black truffles which was over the top amazing. We will definitely try to visit more often. Btw, the chopin vodka martinis were superb. ;-)
We recently celebrated a milestone birthday at Piccolo. Both the manager and Chef worked diligently with us to create a menu so interesting that our guests had a difficult time selecting from the wonderful options.
Everything was beautifully prepared. Portions were perfect and the service was excellent, warm and professional. The feedback from our friends was all overwhelmingly positive. The room looked beautiful and I would highly recommend Piccolo Arancio for a night out or a private event, you won’t be disappointed!

We have been visiting this area for 8 years and always go to Piccolo Arancio if we stay at the Farmington Inn. We took a day trip for some fishing today on the Farmington River and decided to stay overnight and so made a reservation for dinner. Everything was outstanding! We ordered the grilled tuna and the orange flavored ravioli, the caprese salad, Caesar salad, tiramisu and gelato. The food was fantastic, even better than we remembered. The service was top notch. Thank you for a wonderful dinner! We'll be back soon.

We have been going to Piccolos for years; however, since the new owners have been there we have been very disappointed in the food. It just was not as good as it had been. Our visit this past week was so much better! We are very encouraged and will definitely be returning more frequently. The service was very good. The only comment would make is that we were surprised that a dinner salad was not included with the meal. I would not recommend the chocolate bread pudding. It was delicious and very rich, but I would not call it traditional bread pudding.
I bet this spot was really great ten years ago but it just seems sort of tired now. The bolognese was nice and the bread is great but everything else was below standard. The service was good. The ambiance leaves much to be desired.
What a pleasure it was to dine at the establishment that has made the effort to honor the previous owners while offering their own additions. Absolutely terrific food, wonderful cocktails and the same, over the top service from the staff. Thank you so much for a delightful evening.
Thought the food left a lot to be desired... the calamari was not crispy as it should be but rather limp. My chicken I ordered as well as the veal my husband ordered was very thin and looks like it was fried in a deep fryer, very dry. My roasted potatoes some were not done in the middle. I was surprised because we have always had great food here but last time we also were disappointed but decided to give them another chance. You're only as good as your Chef, the waiters was terrific. Sorry about this place it could also stand a good cleaning or better yet an update! Don't be fooled by reading the menu, sounds great but not what is served.
Always great food...Best word: creative

The service was outstanding. Our server was excellent. Can't wait to go back. We loved the food.
We sat down at 6:30 on a Tuesday and did not receive our entrees until 8:45. Our server could not have been lovelier and was clearly stressed about the delay, but when brought to ownership's attention they were unapologetic and failed to properly address the situation. While the food was very good, any establishment that thinks this type of experience is acceptable is not one I would return to.

I have eaten here many times and no longer! Service was awful and slow. Took over 30 minutes to get a drink, apps came over an hour in and were cold. Wine list is now limited and stupidly priced. Not sure if this has changed hands but it was an awful experience and ill never go back. Way over priced..................
Made another trip to the new and improved Piccolo Arancino and was not disappointed. Drinks, aps and food was great as usual.
Food a wine were excellent. The tuna was seared to perfection. The server was friendly and efficient. If I lived in the area, it would be one of my “locals.”
If I could give 0 stars, I would. Overrated on Google. Went on New Year's Eve after reserving two weeks in advance, first red flag was the waitress at the front looked like a fish out of water and was super confused. We waited 15 minutes for them to serve us water. They never took our order.
We waited 45 minutes while trying to flag people down to take our order- many waiters made eye contact with us but ignored us and went on their way. It was only when my fiancé went up to one of the waiters and told them we're going to leave that they tried desperately to take our order. Nobody on our side of the room were getting their food either. Very disappointed, will not be going back. Bless Butchers and Bakers for taking us last minute and saving our New Year’s Eve dinner. (Also looking at past Google reviews, whoever is in charge of replying to the customer reviews here is incredibly rude.)
We visited Piccolo Arancio for the first time and enjoyed our meal here! Everything was fresh, and we thought there was quite the variety of dishes to choose from on the menu. Lots of unique and modern choices that we appreciated. My husband’s lamb was delicious and cooked perfectly, and I really enjoyed my rigatoni alla buttera. The desserts were fantastic too! We’ll be thinking about the baked berries for a while. The servers were sweet and very attentive. Good spot to know about in Farmington!
