Greenside at Tunxis Country Club

This venue was perfect for our wedding ceremony & reception. The location is gorgeous, the event manager is amazing to work with, the food is spectacular. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. This place will always be special to us.

I highly recommend Tunxis for any event, especially weddings! We had our rehearsal dinner in the tavern, and our wedding in the pavilion. Ashley and McKenzie help every step of the way with planning, setup, and coordinating the event. They are super accommodating for everything we needed as well, whether it be including cultural aspects, catering to dietary restrictions, or providing storage space before/after the event. The Tavern is such a cozy space and every aspect of our rehearsal dinner was perfect! Everyone loved the vibe of the fireplace room for an intimate family style dinner. The newer linen-less tables are gorgeous! We chose the pavilion as our wedding venue because it is non traditional (we did not want a ballroom), can have a rustic theme or a more natural elegant theme, and nearly everything is included (tables, linens, food, bar, centerpiece accessories, etc). And not to mention the pavilion in the magical wooded area is absolutely gorgeous in the Fall! Our guests have had nothing but great things to say about the venue, the service, and the food! The food was amazing (the salmon was a hit!) and the atmosphere was top notch. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and helped gather our decor/personal items at the end of the night for an easy end to the night!

We had an excellent experience celebrating our daughter’s bat mitzvah here. The staff, Ashley and Tori made our night amazing.

We had our shower there this past Saturday. Tunxis went above and beyond to make sure we were happy! The food was amazing, the service was top notch! Our day was perfect! We love it here !

First of all there were two young boys working not very with it . Too involved with entertaining each other than paying attention to customers. My husband asked one of the boys are you ready to take our order? He said real snarky like "are you" ...This is rude and ridiculous. Our order was taken 2 burgers one well and the other pick . Well, both were pink. Told the kid, than it took another 25 minutes for my burger. But by that time my husband was done eating! Kid said he won't charge for my burger but on bill he took like $5 off. If you say you will take it off take it off. Very unprofessional and on top of that I had water my husband had a sprite. Yet he charged for 2 soda's. Place was not busy. Before we were gonna leave 2 guys sat down near me waited 20 minutes to get one of these kids attention to take their order. The guy says to the kid well are you ready to take our order? Same kid says are you!This was not a pleasant experience. I don't believe those two had any prior restaurant experience.

What do I recommend ? * everything ! It’s difficult to critique perfection . My wife and I were married in the field and reception in the pavilion . From the very beginning of planning to the very last dance everything was incredibly perfect . Missy and the whole staff , everyone involved , the lighting , food incredible, the way Tunxis gets involved with your vendors . Every single thing was simply p e r f e c t . Tunxis is a great course. It’s always in great shape. With 45 holes you can always get out.
