The food was good but I made the mistake of ordering online. My order was placed at 5:49 (just a grilled cheese and a salad) and my confirmation email said it would be ready at 6:19. I went in about 20 minutes after ordering just in case it was ready earlier and the person at the counter said it would be just a few more minutes. Several people walked up to the counter to order (some eat in, some take out) while I stood waiting and all of them got their food before mine was ready. It’s like the online orders are put behind all of the walk-ins. Finally got my food at 6:30 after at least 6 people people walked out with their orders within 10 minutes of them ordering. Not a good system.

Everything was fresh, good service and in a good location, easy parking. Also a place to get ice cream.

On our way to Bradley Airport saw this place and glad we did. Very eclectic menu. I had a crispy eggplant wrap with tzatziki sauce. Excellent! Ice cream for dessert that was to die for!! Definitely check this place out!

WHAT is going on!? While there’s been basically a steady monthly increase in your prices, the quality and care that goes into your food has been in free fall for quite some time now. Zero consistency, even with things as basic as the size of a dish. Extra charges just for getting something already included in a dish on the side and then the n top of that missing ingredients? Hardly any clams in the chowder any more. I used to love the chicken bacon Greek salad until I got sick on the chicken and you guys started using some kind of nasty feta cheese replacement. Half full dressing cups and charging almost a dollar for an extra one? No more specials, or maybe they’re just completely sporadic. Tonight I got positively scorched falafel, but I got one extra one that was cooked properly so I guess thanks?…You guys used to be the best game in town but I think I’m done hoping it’ll come back to its former glory. I used to eat here at least once a week but sorry guys, I think this will be my last order ?

Good food, mostly middle east inspired. The service is good. Would like to see more food choices. Definitely a nice place to eat.

Food options are pretty unique. Got 2 salads that were very tasty. I think the prices are pretty steep, but maybe that comes with the area? Service was friendly. Nice seating indoors with some outdoor options as well.

I love the food options at this take out restaurant. The first time I went I thought it was good. The second time I went it was much better. The thing I like is that they have some healthy options and choices for a variety of eaters. I look forward to trying it again.

The food is great. Unfortunately the price increases are not just over the top, they are INSANE. $14 for a banh mi with no protein?! So $14 for a baguette with pickled veggies, +$4 for pork? $13 for a gyro with no protein?! That’s for a pita with a few veggies and sauce? This place used to be our go-to, but we can’t afford to eat here anymore. I’m sorry you need stake money to open a new spot, but please change your pricing back to somewhat normal pricing or you’ll lose most of your customers.

Excellent food. Was my first time so i cant compare to what the prices were previously but i didnt feel that it was unfair. Mcdonalds or anything for that matter isn't much cheaper now adays anyways lol. Plus, the customer service was good too which unfortunately isn't as common in the food business.

I'm saddened to write this, because Deep Roots used to be our favorite takeout spot, and the food is still great. Unfortunately, the prices have become absolutely unreasonable. Charging $13 - $16 for a wrap WITHOUT protein (that's for a pita with vegetables and sauce), $14 for a banh mi without protein (that's a baguette with pickled vegetables), $12 for just a grilled cheese with nothing else. We're not poor people but we're certainly not paying $60+ for two medium-sized wraps, one side of fries and drinks. The worst part is that this spot became a success - something worth investing in on the part of new ownership - because of the loyal customers who embraced it and who are now being price-gouged. It's a slap in the face. I encourage the new owners to move back to some semblance of reasonable pricing or I fear they'll lose many more of their *community* customers.
