Every time I come here, I leave with a full heart and the biggest smile. The staff truly makes you feel like family from the moment you walk in. There’s always genuine warmth, laughter, and conversations that make you feel welcomed and appreciated.
Honestly, I’ll happily drive the full 40 minutes just to hang out and catch up with my favorite bartender, Jose. That alone says everything about the kind of place this is. You’re never treated like just another customer — you’re treated like someone who belongs.
The atmosphere is comforting, the people are amazing, and the energy is always uplifting. Rancho Viejo isn’t just somewhere you go for service — it’s somewhere you go to feel good. I’ll keep coming back every time 💛

We came from out of state and tried on the fly, super good and wish it was local to Maryland. Great portions, fresh veggies, my shrimp was to die for! Prices seemed slightly high until we saw the food, it was worth it.

Been here at least 20 times. Love the place...today I received half portions, and my margaritas were watered down. Then my bill was for 3 drinks instead of 2. The guy at the front was just more content with his phone instead of the costumes. On the week end it is entire different deal. Great service, great food, and great drinks on the weekends. The same good for nothing guy is there on the week days

Served a moldy old cheese stuffed pepper. Sent it back and they were nice to make me a whole new plate of anything I wanted, but you would think they would’ve took my whole meal off after eating three bites of old nasty rotten molded cheese pepper! Nope.. one and done. Hot food, beans were great but felt sick and couldn’t enjoy my food after that. Tasted funny and I happened to open it up to look at the cheese that didn’t look right or melt like normal mozzarella. It was black on top. Nasty

OH MY GOSH! Need a Mexican place that serves authentic DELICIOUS food? Look no further. Me and my family have been coming here for over 10 years. I highly recommend the chicken tacos and carne asada. The carne asada is so flavorful, so seasoned and perfectly cooked. The service is great!! The owner is very kind!

It is more expensive than it's worth. We won't be going back until prices come down. $14.70 for chips and salsa (which should be complimentary in my opinion). $20.34 for ONE taco, rice and beans. I know everything is expensive now, but come on that is absolute robbery. With the amount of money this place is making in profit, it could invest in an actual website with a current menu and pricing. We ordered take out and were absolutely surprised at the bill.

We came on a Tuesday evening. I had tamales and an enchilada combo. The enchilada was very good, but the tamales were dry and hard. Both ends of the tamales were impossible to eat. The insides were very dry. We would have both had another beverage, but our waitress never came back to check on our drink status. She just came back to get our plates and the check. Sorry for the review but it’s an honest one.
