I took my grandkids for a nice dinner service was pretty bad. My grandkids says they didn’t want to go back ever again. As we sit down? We asked for the chips and guacamole we had dinner before we get the guacamole we had asked for the guacamole like three times, We got the guacamole after we had the dinner they were rushing and rushing us out. It was a bad service that day. The place was not busy at all.

This restaurant is in a plaza, but it's really good authentic Mexican food. The salsa is so fresh, the jalapeno cheese dip was one of the best Ive had, the chicken soup was great very fresh, everything was great, and the Margaritas were very good as well. Festive atmosphere, especially during xmas. Prices reflect the full service experience, free chips and salsa and huge portions. Come hungry! No cheap single tacos on the menu, meals come large and with sides. $15 and up. Very friendly service, enjoyed my spicy margarita. Absolutely swimming with fresh jalapenos!

Well, I would have loved to comment on the food but after waiting 30 minutes I find out they forgot my order. Now, I did come in a few minutes before 8 pm but there was at least one table and several booths with people in them. If the kitchen is closed just tell me. The salsa was very chunky and more like pico, which was fine. The house margarita was serviceable, I did drink it. Oh well perhaps next time I'm in the area.

As a Hispanic I was extremely disappointed in the food. The rice was bland, the beans lacked flavor, the chips were mediocre at best and the salsa tasted like Pace salsa but worse. This place may look nice but it's a terrible representation of Mexican food.

This is our family favorite restaurant. We're from Arizona and often feel homesick in Connecticut, but the crew at Rancho Vejo make us feel right at home! We frequent this restaurant enough that they all say, see you manana. I truly appreciate the customer service and authentic Mexican flavor (and atmosphere). Now, if only I could get them to put my special burrito on the menu ?

The menu had sooooo many options it was hard to choose! I ended up getting a chicken quesadilla. Huge portion! I was able to eat 4 & bring some home for my husband. The salsa that came with the chips at the table was soooo yummy. I had a frozen coffee alcoholic drink as well. Delicious. I'll definitely be back.
