Four of us enjoyed our lunch except we were seated an area with obvious huge table set up for 20 people. Once they all came in it was very noisy and the four of us had a hard time hearing each other. I would say to be mindful of such situations. I regret not asking to be moved.

Had a chance to make my way up to Granby to try out The Barn. Heads Up: You will need to call ahead and make reservations. Unless you'd like to gamble. I went at lunch time, upon arrival I was I was asked for a reservation (which I didn't have), but they seated me due to the fact that it wasn't busy at the time. The Barn is, in fact, a BARN. It has outdoor seating, but I went in January, so it's no outside for me . The inside wasn't gutted like some places might be. Instead, the interior was a painted white repurposed barn. Instead of focusing on the country vibe of barn, the Barn furnishings are modern and upscale in look. Now the food. I opted for the Granby burger as my choice of food option for lunch. If I'm going to go burger, I look for something that make it different. The Granby burger is a burbon onion herb remoulade. The burger was juicy and tasty. It had a great flavor and it came with a side of hand cut fries. I would definitely stop by again (with a reservation) to try some of their dinner options the next time I'm in the area. Looks like their seafood may be something to try.

I had the Cheddar Burger and a salad. The food was great and drinks came quick. But the best part was, our server Bandon. What a great kid he made sure we were all set and had a great attitude.
This was the best place I have been to in a long time. A definite new fave. Mary was very professional, friendly and informative. Will be back again and recommend to everyone.

Great atmosphere. Good food. The menu is good. They redid the menu during COVID. They took some delicious things off the menu. Some of the things are missed but it is still good.
Update in response to the Barns response:Our group did book the “private room” & you failed to mention that it was double booked by your staff. You also didn’t tell us this until we arrived. Our decorations were up for an hour and a half before anyone mentioned anything to us. It all comes down to poor customer service all around.Went to have a nice dinner with some family from out of town. Unfortunately, had a very unprofessional experience with the management. Will not be returning to this restaurant.

Reserved the private room for a party of like 15 weeks ago. Showed up and they said they double booked the private room and made us sit in the dinning room. Then proceeded to kick us out because of our happy 40th birthday decorations. Terrible business practices.EDIT: in response to the barns response. We booked said “private room” weeks ago and when we arrived, we were told that they gave another party the room we reserved

Made a 15 person, private room reservation for a 40th Birthday Party. They did not reserve the private room for us as confirmed with reservation and moved us to the main dinning room. Then after having the decorations setup in the dinning room and eating our appetizers for an hour, Owen, the floor manager, had the audacity to say decorations are not allowed in the main dining room and it was not his call but the decision of the owner. Not even 1 birthday balloon… Needless to say, we decided to take out business else where.
