Very charming place with the best pizza! The outside dining area is very charming. We usually get takeout and love the different varieties of their pizzas.

Very rude owner. Discriminated against me because I was Jewish. I walked out because he made an offensive “joke” to me about me having a bunch of money to pay double for my pies just because I was Jewish. Definitely will not be back.

Fabulous salad and pizza in a fun atmosphere. Sitting at the counter you are literally in the kitchen, and the “bar” is out back in a refurbished van! Fresh ingredients and attentive service = a true find. Most of the business seems to be take-out. Cute patio out back for when the weather is nice. We were utterly charmed! Pro tip: make a reservation as there is only one small table and about ten counter seats.
I’ve eaten about 10,000 pizzas in my 39 years and this is absolutely some of the best I’ve ever had.

Don’t get me wrong this is in my opinion the best pizza in Austin and coming from someone from Connecticut it rivals the pizza up here which is the best in the country. However, the service is horrendous. I’ve been to bufalina at least 20 times as I lived in Austin for a while and everytime without fail the person serving me was the most uninterested rude individual ever. The service industry thrives based on good service. It’s sad to see such an amazing tasting place treating their customers like this. Also the host/hostess is unbelievable and they are amazing this does not pertain to them/they know who they are.

Margarita pizza was excellent. We had them make it slightly underdone and uncut so that we cold bring it home and finish in our oven. Came out crispy and delicious.

We went and sat at the bar (there is only one table so there is that) and had four different pies. There was a level of inconsistency across the selections. The selections are a bit “cheffy”, that is to say the ingredients are a bit odd and not necessarily good pairings. A bit esoteric to appeal to those that watch “Top Chef” and not necessarily the non-impressed by combinations. Order carefully and beware of the choices. Ambience is meh. Flavor is very good but not “knock your socks off”. Service is fine. Would I go back, yes. Would I go out of the way to go back, no.
Better ingredients, better pizza - BUFALINA!! The owners care about what they do, and it comes though in every pizza and all the seasonal salads, as well as the perfectly curated beverage selection. Local gem.
You can park on Fair St and walk if lot full. (Very small eat-in counter, but patio has lots of extra seating when weather allows.)
Delicious Pizza. Best around, and yes, we’re in New Haven pizza territory. The owners are always there and know everyone. Indoor seat allows everyone to watch the entirety of the kitchen action and the outdoor seating is in a garden where they grow a lot of their herbs and the VW bug converted into a bar is super fun.
Doesn’t pick up when you call. Out of food when you arrive.
Great Italian style pizza backed to perfection in an extra hot oven
