My favorites are the VBLT with thier new tofu bacon and the tofu salad for a quick grab and go option. The yoga cookies are my favorite pastry in the area! The staff were also eager to accomidate my group. We wholeheartedly recommend this gem for anyone seeking an exceptional vegan dining adventure.

This place is great! The food is delicious, the staff is happy to accommodate any special requests that they can and I'm always happy I went. I love that they have such a variety of options on the menu; always some flavor I'm craving. I've never gone wrong with the quiche of the day, so if I'm having a salad, and they still have some left, I'll often bring a slice home for dinner (so yummy). Well done guys, see you soon!!

Just had a a lovely experience at Cilantro Speciality foods and coffee roasters. The coffee was delicious and I had the best blueberry lemon scone ever. As a first time visitor to Guilford, I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised by the neighborhood feel, high quality of the food and the amazing service. I really felt like I was around family.

I stopped in today before running errands for some much needed coffee. At check out, I asked Anna about the tray of scones that the baker was refilling. “Oh that’s our Peach Ginger scone,” she said and asked if she could put one in a bag for me! I wish that I had taken a pic of this amazing creation but it was gone in a flash! So good!! I highly recommend! Thank you to the bakers and staff for a lovely visit. Cilantro does not disappoint 💚

I stopped in this morning for my favorite double vanilla latte and decided to switch it up and get a piece of the iced pumpkin bread instead of my usual banana bread to enjoy on my commute into work. Everything that they bake here is amazing but this was pure sunshine! I’ll be back in the morning for round two! So grateful to have this landmark in our downtown! So good!

Memories from the past when you could walk into a local grocery store or family owned sandwich shop that made great sandwiches and waited in line for your turn to order. Great selection of sandwiches, salads and bakery items. Warm and friendly with a pleasant staff.

Pretty bad. Coffee was luke warm (I tossed it after 2 sips and I’m not picky or a coffee snob at all). Avacado toast on GF bagel was horrible. Extremely salty bagel wasn’t toasted in the slightest. Threw it away after 1 bite. Place has potential but needs some work I would not come back
Evening crew could use a refresher on coffee making. Provided an opportunity to remake the drink with less milk (Cortado), comes back remade with more milk, barista brushes it off like it’s not his problem. So I left and here’s my review.

First and foremost this is not a safe space for LGBTQIA+ or queer people. I went in for a job interview today after driving for 30 mins. Someone else was scheduled at the same time I was asked to come, so I opened the door for the manager and the other candidate and patiently waited and was never seen. After I decided to leave after the humiliation of not being acknowledged, I thought I might as well order a coffee so my time was not complete wasted. After ordering I waited several minutes and then saw a beverage had been placed on the counter. I asked the girl who took my order if it was my beverage and she proceeded to ask 3 other people who the beverage was for. I couldn’t get a solid clear answer on whether it was so I just took a chance and assumed it was.
Long story short, you can slap rainbows on your business but ignoring and mistreating queer people does not make you an ally and it sure as heck doesn’t make you a professional and ethical business. I’m sure they will make some excuse as to why they couldn’t bother even giving me the time of day but actions speak louder than words. Don’t give your money to people who won’t even acknowledge the personhood of queer folx.
To Rachel the manager - I’m glad you ignored me and wouldn’t give me the time of day because I would never work for someone who would cause harm to another queer person. It shows the type of person you are and it’s disgusting. I hope you sit with that shame and let it consume you until you’re able to reflect on your actions and grow. I wish you healing but I do not wish you peace.
