By far the greatest historical home tour i ever been to almost 2 hours spent here the tour guide was incredible and awesome
Great part of Guilford history and had a blast at the farmers market.
If you are looking for a beautiful historical property for your wedding with a barn setting, and ready for DIY decorating, the Dudley Farm is for you. The property in September was drop dead gorgeous, from it's old historic farmhouse glowing in the autumn light, the yellow barn ready to party with it's glittering hanging lights, adorable sheep in the pasture, and flourishing flower garden perfect for a ceremony backdrop. The woman who runs the Dudley farm, Janet, was amazing. She walked us through every little detail needed to complete our dream wedding and had so many suggestions along the way. She created my amazing flower bouquets using the exact flowers I wanted, mostly local and seasonal flowers in the perfect colors for my day. The barn holds about 85 people comfortably, and is mostly empty so completely DIY friendly and open for very creative decorations. I couldn't have been happier with the Dudley Farm, and it's natural beauty.
I drive by daily and love this historical home - great caretakers.
Historic location used for some functions, if you get a chance to visit it's well worth a stop in. Kind of a collection of the Guilford history from the attic all gathered in one place. There's an interesting display of dioramas in the basement (example pictured) of historic professions. Wonderfully restored and meticulously kept, there's a lot of care and attention from the Keeping Society here.
A real hidden gem in Guilford, CT. The docents are so knowledgeable. The tavern is beautiful.
A really beautiful historical building and grounds
It is an absolutely quintessential example of early American history. It has been meticulously maintained and meticulously renovated to provide the absolutely best ambiance. Its location is such that you feel as if you have stepped back 200 years in time. It is absolutely worth a visit
