Stopped on our way back home to RI and the pizza was AMAZING. Went in to eat and couldn't have had a better experience, so incredibly friendly. Wish we didn't live so far away! We were offered olive oil to dip the crust in which was a first for is and it was delicious!

Pasta Avest has delicious food, the staff are friendly and make you feel like you’re family, and the environment inside is clean, cozy, and relaxing! I think not being able to decide what you want to eat because everything is delicious is a wonderful problem to have!Favorite item is the sausage and peppers sub. They even have specials and recently the chicken cutlet with mozz, cherry peppers, and hot honey was a genuine knock out of the park.These guys are a hidden gem that shouldnt be hidden. Prices are prices, everyone has to make a living but I’ll be the first to tell you they’re absolutely worth it!

Had such a wonderful time at Avest this past weekend! Sarah was so sweet and welcoming. All the food was absolutely delicious and incredibly reasonable. There was a chicken cutlet, prosciutto, straciatella on focaccia special sandwich of the day that was so incredible I keep daydreaming about it. Fingers crossed they add it to the permanent menu but I’d go back in a heartbeat regardless!

I have no bad things to say about this place. The owners, Sarah and Neco, are super friendly and super welcoming.We tried a pizza (so many toppings to choose from - we got pepperoni, ricotta, and hot honey), their sandwich of the day (chicken cutlet, prosciutto, and stracciatella), and also a pasta (rigatoni with vodka sauce and chicken cutlet). I love that they have so many pasta options. You get to choose your pasta shape, the sauce, and any toppings to add.For those on the go, they have a convenient salad bar, prepackaged hot foods, and a variety of pizza slices. If I worked in Guilford, I think I'd stop meal prepping and just come here every day!!Pro tip: they make fresh bread that you can buy ;)
Yesterday was the first time I ordered from Pasta Avest. I ordered 2 items:Small Veggie Bomb pizza: $18.00 and a side of sausage: $6.50 priced according to the PDF menu on the website.The actual charges when ordering were increased:Small Veggie Bomb pizza: $21.75Side of sausage: $7.95($5.20 more than expected)In addition there were 2 additional surcharges that took me by surprise:Small order fee: $1.99 extraDistance to deliver fee: $2.99 (I live near the High School!)($4.98 more)Gratuity was automatically added but I was able to modify it to a lesser amount.Phew – an extra $10.18. Ouch.The Veggie pizza was just ok ….The side of sausage tasted dry.My total VISA bill was $42.21 which I think was costly for what I ordered.If you never ate there before I would encourage you to try it as there are many good reviews. I doubt if I would ever order again, as once was enough for me.

I cannot say enough good things about this place and the owners. We rented the upstairs room for a birthday party and the owner (Sarah) helped every step of the way. They are so accommodating, so thoughtful and you can tell they really care. The food was delicious and the service was also great. Highly recommend this restaurant, especially for private parties. Thank you so so much!!!!

First time here and had the Steak and Cheese. WOW. The woman who greeted me was incredibly friendly and the sandwich was fantastic! I overheard the two construction guys sitting next to me telling her the Pizza they were having is their favorite in the state. My new go to spot for lunch!
