First time diner with high hopes. It started off well. Drinks were good. We ordered calamari which was a fried a bit to long and had a slightly rubbery texture. We moved on to steaks. Not a big eater so we went with filet mignon. I ordered med-rare. I received med+. Not what I expected frome a steak house. The asparagus was fantastic but the prime frites were over cooked and hard. I would have enjoyed a glass of wine with dinner but never had the opportunity to order a glass as once our steaks were dropped off, we didn't see her again until we had had enough and asked for the check.
The atmosphere was lively and enjoyable. I expect a higher standard the reflects the price paid.

Started with bang bang shrimp which was good & the lollipops that had decent flavor but the chicken was kind of dry & rough. Entrees were Chilean sea bass that initially had a nice presentation but texture & flavor of fish wasn’t great, & king crab fried rice was mushy & bland, dish not worth $54 price tag. We also had steaks, NY Strip & filet, both were solid but I can live without the Chipotle fast food side sauce. Sides were mashed potatoes 1 of which had foul taste the other was ok. Also paired filet with Oscar, king crab, jumbo asparagus, bearnaise sauce which was fine. Desserts were excellent, lava cake & strawberry shortcake. I may consider returning on a nice day to sit outside because inside is kind of loud, & I would probably try brunch or a burger. Price tag doesn’t match the quality of food.

FOOD POISONING - and we may not be the only ones. We have previously really enjoyed Prime so we are very disappointed to say we'll never go again.
My 2.5 year old son and I ate here on July 3rd. He is a very good eater and happily devoured their chicken fingers and french fries. He woke up at 3am, 5am, 7am, and 9am vomiting chicken profusely. He had no other symptoms. My husband and I were heavily exposed and neither of us had any symptoms. If this were contagious, dear reader, we'd have it. This was food poisoning no question.
A neighbor later told me she'd heard from other people previously who said they had food poisoning here and would never go back. I wish we had known.
I did try to contact the restaurant by phone but no one answered and their system did not allow me to leave a message. I reached out via the website's contact page just to let them know about the incident and suggest they check refrigerators, suppliers, anything. I never heard back.
It is 12 days later and he has still not recovered.
Order at your own risk. Caveat emptor.

I have been blessed to have traveled to many places in the world and I have eaten many many steaks at many many steakhouses throughout the USA and abroad. This steak tonight was, without question, the greatest steak I have ever eaten. And I am not using hyperbole when I say that. I can not recommend this place enough.

What a great restaurant… everything was delicious and our server Kayleigh was the best… can’t wait to go back for the meatball appetizer and the Beni Hana entree…

No place to sit inside so forced to sit on patio on a very hot and humid evening. Food and drinks were excellent.

Having been in the hospitality industry for over 4 decades; I sadly must say that the service at Prine On Whitfield is horrendous. The food & ambiance are on point, but the service is no better than a scrappy diner. The servers are inattentive and entitled. So Sorry, but for the exorbitant prices; this place is a Total Loser.

Super fancy restaurant. All my food was delicious! The tab was $240. Definitely a place to impress someone. The steak was great. Everything was phenomenal.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but this experience was frustrating enough to deserve one. My friends and I arrived at this restaurant excited to try it out, but unfortunately, we never even got the chance. We waited over an hour at our table without a single server acknowledging us—no water, no menus, not even a “we’ll be right with you.”

We watched as other tables that arrived after us were seated and served. We tried flagging someone down more than once, but were completely ignored. Eventually, we just got up and left.

I understand places get busy, but there’s no excuse for completely forgetting a table, especially without a single apology or update. Based on this experience alone, I won’t be coming back or recommending this place to anyone.

Just had dinner here recently, decent atmosphere. Great service, everyone was very friendly especially our waitress. The food was good, i liked the witty wording and puns on the menu and around the restaurant. We would come back.
