Quattros is a one of a kind Restaurant in the center of Guilford. The food is always delicious cooked to perfection and it looks absolutely scrumptious. The variety of specialties is unique. Every dish is delicious. We have been going there for several years and it's always the one restaurant I regularly return to.

Been coming for years. Cute little bistro feel, the food has been consistent, even though this visit was the busiest ever (& dare I say.... maybe even a tad too noisy?). So happy for them. It was actually fun to see how packed it was!

Started with our waiter but the superior service didn’t stop there. Every busser/food or drink runner was great! The food was creative, fresh and delicious! We had the roasted eggplant and stuffed artichokes for our appetizers - both very different in preparation and so, so good. Dinner was Chicken Quattro and again every flavor on the plate paired well and was very delicious. The drinks were creative and very well made. We loved everything about this place that we were tempted to go back again the next night. We are from out of town and thought we should at least try another place and quickly regretted it. We went to Chapter One (one block away from Quattro) which looked really nice and appeared to have a good (but common) menu. Aside from the cute window table we were seated at, the food was lackluster and service even worse. Paled greatly in comparison to Quattro. We should have gone to Quattro a second night in a row and would not have been disappointed like we were with Chapter One.

I brought my fiancé here for her birthday, since we were in the area and this place had decent reviews. She got bolognese and I got seafood risotto. We were extremely unhappy with the food. The bolognese was not seasoned well, pasta was not that good. The seafood was VERY chewy and rubber-like. The risotto was not seasoned that well either in my opinion. We both had only a few bites of our meal and informed the waitress of our displeasure, she was very accommodating with this and offered us to try something else on the menu but we declined, and she did not charge for the meal.
The food came out within a reasonable amount of time, no complaints on the speed of service or the staff that we dealt with directly.
It is a nice ambiance inside and outside of the restaurant, has some soft music playing while you eat. I give an overall 2 stars because it was my fiances birthday and we were just very disappointed in the food.

Great food. Often have to wait a bit even with a reservation. Waitstaff is professional and knowledgeable. If a loud din isn't your thing, that could be a problem.

Unbelievable experience. We were just there to have happy hour and dinner with friends. Our friend is handicap and they would not honor us happy hour only if we sat on high tops or out side. The temperature right now is 65. Cold with no sun looks like rain. I cannot believe they do not make exceptions for the handicap. She was a waitress and didn’t even check with the manager. I will never go back there again.

My grandparents inquired about the food after nearly an hour wait. Our waitress then got annoyed at them and belittled them. She could’ve done pretty much anything other than what she did— cop an attitude and act like asking a question is some affront. My family is not full of Karens, we understand food service, so to watch my grandparents be treated with a massive attitude and belittled on what was supposed to be a birthday lunch was enough to kill everyone's appetite. The food was meh. Every other staff member at the establishment was kind, and doing their best. Our waitress succeeded in one thing for sure though-- acting as if we were a blight on the face of the earth for inquiring about food we were going to pay a hefty penny for. The building itself is nice. I'm just appalled at how poorly my grandparents were treated. Mind you, they are not yellers, not uppity rich folks, not entitled. They just were confused about what was taking nearly an hour at the point in which they asked about the food. I'm not sure how that is something that warrants a waitress being so argumentative and cruel to everyone around. She not only treated my grandparents horribly, but then was being cold to every single person at the table as well as her fellow staff. It was honestly insane. Looks like other reviews mention similar experiences. I’d avoid this place as they clearly are not willing to fix the litany of issues (wait times, service, the one waitress, no manager).

Waited almost three hours for our food to come out of the kitchen. It's overpriced for how underwhelming the food is. Definitely consider going somewhere else. I certainly will. No apology or anything from management. So it appears that is the expectation when dining at Quattro's.

We sat outside this evening… There were four of us… We ordered at 5:40 and it took almost an hour for an appetizer of a shrimp cocktail and a salad to come! Nothing to even cook ! Took a half hour initially to get bread… Service was so incredibly slow. I never got a refill on my water. When our meals finally came out, we asked for cheese for the pasta and eventually had to go inside and Remind the waitress. The food was quite tasty, however, the wait for our food was ridiculous. By the time we got the cheese on the pasta, it was cold. Waitress was friendly, and polite… However, we just Felt like we were forgotten about the entire time Couldn’t fully enjoy your evenings because we were so frustrated regarding the service

We went to Quattro's restaurant on our lunch break, and met a friend. Our food was taking over an hour, and our waiter came by and told us it will be out in a minute. My friend replied that she had to leave, as her lunch break was over and she needed to get back to work, to which our waiter responded rudely, "okay" and shrugged. About 15 minutes after that, we were told that the food inspector had come and they had to "stop cooking the meal," so they were unsure how long it would take to actually get the food, and asked if we wanted to cancel our meal and go somewhere else (which we did not have time to do at that point). I am confused as I have worked in the food industry and the food inspector does not usually interrupt cooking for customers. An hour and a half after we arrived, we finally got our food, but only had time to take a few bites as we had to get back to work. The food tasted as if it had been microwaved. When a different waitress came out to give us the bill, we asked if we would be compensated. (If they were transparent about the time it would take to get the food from the beginning we would have had time to go somewhere else to get lunch due to our time restraint). We were told there was no manager at that time and the person in charge was busy talking to the food inspector. We were charged for our whole meal. Overall, the staff did not care about the situation. One female waitress apologized but never offered any compensation. I am wondering whether the staff/owner even cares enough to read these reviews.

I came here for my grandmothers 75th birthday party. The one guy that served us was really nice and helpful. He replaced my wine when there was a fly floating in it. The woman must not know how to deal with conflict because it was taking them a long time to serve our actual meal and she got very snippy with both of my grandparents. The tall guy mixed up two of the dishes and she made a degrading joke against him. My tuna wrap and fries were delicious, so we're the stuffed mushrooms. Some of the dishes weren't hot anymore, I think they had food sitting on warmers as to try get them all out at once but they should have just started serving the meals that were done. My husbands steak ended up cooked more than he asked. Ambiance was ok - it's nice in there, my mom thought it was loud.
