I got my wedding cake here. I always drove by this bakery but never got anything. But for my wedding my kids suggested to get the cake from there since they had taste cakes here before. It was a great choice. My wedding cake was delicious and I got so many compliments. People love the flavor. It wasn’t too sweet which I loved and everyone commented on that too. My mother does not like cakes that are made too sugary and this one was perfect even though was chocolate flavor. The decoration was beautiful for the theme I was looking for. The service has been also good. Never had a problem getting in touch with them, I brought my own shells that I have collected throughout our family trips for them to use. Got back wherever that didn’t use.

I ordered a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting for my mother's 80th birthday party last night in Fairfield. Carrot cake is her favorite. The cake was beautiful in presentation, and incredibly delicious. It was the hit of the party. I've been getting texts all day asking me where it came from.

Ordered two cakes and they were BOTH delicious !! I did not have any expectations since this was the first time I tried anything from Take the Cake. Highly recommend!! Loved how consistently delicious both cakes were. Very different flavors but looked very uniform. You can taste the high quality ingredients. Please don’t change and keep making delicious cakes! Now I need a “cake passport” to remember which flavors I’ve tried

i ordered a white chocolate mouse this was the most delicious most spectacular scrumptious cake and the biggest cake i have ever ate in my whole entire and the flavors just busted in my mouth like nothing before and the cream was immaculate 10 out of 10 would try again its bussin!

We have been ordering cakes for all occasions. May is crazy busy month for us and we always order two to three cakes just in this month. When I called to here that they were temporarily closed with no reopening date; I was so upset. Hope they come back soon.
My wedding was February 25th 2024 and we were supposed to get a cake delivery from them but now they have our money and nobody has called us back and all we know is what they said on their website temporarily closed!!

Unfortunately, everything about the cake we ordered was incorrect. We ordered via phone a week in advance and were told to pick it up at 11. It was not ready (or even started) upon arrival, because the baker didn’t know we ‘really wanted it’. We needed to come back to get it hours later and it was the wrong size, which we didn’t know until we saw it upon pick up. When we cut into the birthday cake it was the wrong flavor! The very small cake did look pretty, but I could not recommend ordering from Take the Cake again.

Had ordered some cupcakes and a small cake for a wedding. The cupcakes were delicious but not all of the flavor's were delivered. The small cake looked amazing but the taste was inedible. The frosting that we wanted was put inside the cake instead of outside. The cake batter tasted unlike any cake I've ever had so we had to throw the cake away. The only reason for 3 stars is because the cupcake tasted very good albeit we didn't get all the flavors we wanted but the quanity was the right amount. Overall, I suggest going somewhere else for ordering anything in advance. If you come to buy anything on the spot then it'll be a better selection I hope.
