A little busy at the 6:30-7:30am hour but incredibly worth it. Food is great staff is attentive to your coffee getting low and the price is not bad for the portions you get! Will come again. 10/10 would recommend

This is one of those "Wow, how do they do it" types of restaurants where everything is good. Even the home fries, despite being simple were really good. I want to know the trick, do they use special potatoes? Even the Rye toast was thicker and tastier. Recommend cinnamon French toast, cornbread and whatever floats your fancy.
Too bad they are so far away but I'll manage to get back there somehow.

Always worth the wait, their cinnamon French toast is off the charts and the butter they top it with is ridiculously good, it didn't need syrup,,I just want to shutdown my computer and head there right now ?

This was my first time here. I was looking for something with a little bit of a drive from my place and the reviews look good. The food was delicious. My friend and I both ordered the country restaurant scrambler. Hi then ordered one slice of the cinnamon French toast, which was so good. Our our waitress was super friendly and funny. We definitely will be going back there. There are several things on the menu I want to try. Their specials look good as well.

Dietary restrictions: I did see some gluten-free options on the menu.

Parking: The restaurant is in a shopping center so there’s plenty of parking.

Kid-friendliness: I did see a kid menu.

I visited for the first time on Sunday morning. Timed it just right because we waited about 15 minutes. Jack's is located in a small shopping strip, a few doors down from the post office.Signage is kind of tricky because the sign has all of the other businesses on it, which makes it a lottle hard to see " Jack's".There is plenty of parking and is across the street from the hardware store. It is really cozy inside. The decor is that of Mel's diner or something late 70s to mid 80s.I did not mind the decor because the staff was great and can I tell you about the food?Ok, I will tell you about the food... The menu was abundant and accompanied by a special menu. The special menu included.... Orange Mimosa French Toast... WHAT??? Delicious is what.. I mean topped with sugar crystals and an orange garnished with the same and served with perfectly cooked chicken sausage. My heart smiled and my tummy fluttered when the waitress explained it.Three thumbs up Jack's!!! I guess there is a reason why this place is listed in the top 5 breakfast spots in CT.Oh yeah, I forgot to mention... they close at noon.Totally worth the trip and is DEFINITELY on the repeat list.

By far, the best breakfast place, not only locally, but in most of the CT! I come here quite often, I don't consider any other place. Staff is always friendly, food is always fresh, they use mostly local ingredients from farms in the area, especially during the season. I just wish they were open little longer, maybe until 2pm. But they will still serve you if you put your order in before 12pm. Do yourself a favor and give them a try, you want regretted!
