Seriously? So Disappointed.

We are regulars for take out and honestly, I'm not sure we will order again after tonight. My husband got home and they gave a meat pizza to a vegetarian. He called and drove 20 min round trip for a new one and instead of a lovely new cheese pizza, they gave us an undercooked, hasty replacement. I am very disappointed.

Great place. Been many times. Exceptional Service. Whoever runs this place knows the local market and how to get the staff to deliver.

Stopped by on a Friday evening. We were seated promptly upon arrival. The waitress stopped over to say she’d be right with us but took about 10 minutes to come back to take drink orders. We took the opportunity to order drinks and our entrees. No water and no ordered drinks for another 15 minutes. Garlic rolls and garlic bread were bland. Salads only had cucumber and olives on them. We waited about 45 minutes (from ordering) for our waitress to tell us she asked the kitchen for our meals. Another 20 minutes went by, our waitress was avoiding our table and our eye contact and my husband went up to the kitchen and let them know this is was unheard of and they were better than this (we’ve come here a few other times before). 10 minutes later our waitress said I heard you want the check. ???? No we want the food we ordered. The food arrived as she was at our table. The burger was bland, lasagna and penne a la vodka were delicious. All in all we were there for about 2 hrs. The table who sat down next to us received their food within 20 minutes. I’m confident the kitchen lost our ticket and had to make the order on the fly. I’m disappointed our waitress couldn’t approach us and let us know what it happened and avoided us instead of addressing the problem head on. We frequent the area throughout the summer and this is not typically a place that comes to mine not that they’re typically horrible but they’re not particularly memorable. Honestly, I’d rather go to Pattaconk, which is in the opposite direction from our house because their food is consistent. Their staff are friendly and their food comes out timely.

Website and Google have this restaurant listed as open. Drove over after looking at the menu only to get there and they were closed. Sign on the door. Website/Google probably should have been updated. Wasted time and had to locate another place to dine that was open. Very disappointed especially since only visiting.

I want to add a new review. I think this is the only way to do it is to edit a previous review. We are season ticket holders at the Goodspeed. Went to another partner restaurant before our show tonight (7/20/25). That did not work out so we all said Morinas. It was fairly empty when we arrived. But it quickly filled with either Goodspeed patrons or people not wanting to cook tonight with the excessive heat. They definitely became overwhelmed but did a good job with service. Our apps came quickly. Fried mozzarella and shrimp cocktail. Both were very good. Our entrees took a bit but we were all happy with the results. No time for dessert. Plus we were full from our food. This time I ordered a glass of Pinot and was charged correctly. Ava did a great job with the influx of diners. We definitely enjoy coming here and we will be back .Thanks for a great meal before a great show at the Goodspeed . Look forward to our next visit.

We do like Morina. The food is good. They were very busy today after we arrived but the service was ok. Had to continuously ask for water refills. My son and I ordered cocktails. Run Punch and Blue Lagoon. Both were good. When dinner arrived I asked for a glass of Pinot Grigio. They have house, Ecco Domain and Santa Margherita. The waitress didn’t ask my choice. In the future I will be specific. When the bill arrived I saw I was charged for a Santa Margherita for $12.00 a glass. I asked the waitress why was I charged for Santa Margherita . . She said when the guest isn’t specific we give the house wine. Well the house wine is $8.00 a glass and not Santa Margherita. It was corrected to the house wine. But be sure to be specific what you order. That was definitely shady. . And the wine I received was not Santa Margherita. I have it at my house and it is not what I received. Otherwise we were pleased with our meal. I would correct the dessert menu to specify chocolate mousse cake when it says chocolate mousse. Minor but my son wanted chocolate mousse so he ordered it and it was actually cake. It was good but not what he wanted. We will return but pay better attention.

We were visiting Gillette Castle from out of state and needed a place for lunch, and we made a reservation here. Everything was amazing and the staff was super nice. We paid the bill and we were having the kids use the bathroom before we left and during that time a car actually hit the side of the building. Thank God everyone was okay but what a harrowing experience. I wish the owners and the staff the best of luck and a quick turnaround to get the restaurant back open again. We will definitely return if we are ever in the area!

Round 2 for Valentine's Day dinner... A completely new spot for us that DIDN'T disappoint.. Morina Restaurant for the win...Everything was amazing..The entire staff made us feel like family, the way a restaurant shouĺd be. The Garlic Rolls are to die for, and the awesome Chicken Parmesan with fresh made parpardelle pasta, and homemade sauce, & Jen's Greek Chicken wrap was PACKED with fresh grilled chicken & feta cheese & had killer fries. We will be back. Thank you to the whole Morina family.

Mussels were great, especially the complimentary garlic knots to dip with.

Shrimp scampi was good; a little strong in garlic flavor, which never hurt anyone.

Penne A La Vodka was extremely good. Only critique was the grilled chicken seemed absorb much of the sauce flavor, but still a great fish.

Entrees come with salads which were very fresh.

Did not have time to order dessert, but a large selection that looked great!

The food and service was wonderful! l had never been to Morina's before and we went there for a wedding rehearsal dinner. They had everything prepared as discussed, food was hot and well prepared. Would eat there again if in the area.

Amazing food, people, and service. My only complaint is that it is really loud in the dining area to the left/south of the bar at peak times. They could use some baffle system or something for noise control. It’s not ridiculous but just a little annoying; doesn’t stop us from going here

Three eggplant selections says it all!
For the eggplant fans out there.
All the meat eaters have lots of delicious choices too.

Music was so loud in the dining room, we couldn't talk to the people at our own table!

Vegetarian options: Eggplant section on the menu is a huge plus!
