I work in the area close to Nutmegz and have become very friendly with the people who work there! They know exactly what I want whenever I order! They did have a rocky start, but since they have reopened they have stepped up their game! I get great service in a timely manner with a smile. Everything is made from scratch, you can tell its home-cooked food, it's not often you find food like that anymore as everything is processed for convenience.Breakfast sandwiches and burgers and fries are my go-to and they haven't disappointed me yetThe apple snickerdoodles are so soft and delicious, they get an honorable mention at the end here. Please try for yourself!

Myself and a few buddies on the bridge crew gave them a second chance when they reopened & was disappointed once again. You're better off grabbing coffee & food from dunkin.. Burnt old tasting coffee and the food took forever/was over cooked, waste of money & time.

Nutmegz is great. Their bacon, egg and cheese sandwich is one of the best I have ever eaten. The eggs were fluffy, the bacon crispy to perfection, the cheese nicely melted and the grilled brioche type roll was amazing. The coffee was hot and fresh. The atmosphere is simple but congenial. A nice menu addition is the offering empanadas, they were delicious. All in all great little breakfast nook with friendly staff and decent prices.

This place is amazing! The food is amazing the staff are all friendly and very respectful and helpful to their customers. I went in the other day not knowing what to eat since their new menu change and the owner recommended something and even let me try the sauce he was going to put on my food to make sure it wasn't too spicy for me. Nutmegz resteraunt is amazing

Save both your money & time. Avoid this place. It took over 20 minutes for an overcooked egg sandwich. This was always an issue anytime we have given this place a chance. The girl working the front has a horrible attitude.I was hoping things would change with the reopening, but it seems to be the same nonsense. Unorganized & inconsistent, with barely edible food.Needless to say we will not go back. There's a great place 10 minutes away if you're looking for a delicious breakfast option, called The Villager. That place we highly recommend ?River valley locals avoid Nutmegz!!! ??‍♀️

Update 10/22/23- went by here before noon and there is an illuminated open sign in the window. 10/21/23 - I’m unsure that this is still open. Went by today 10/21/23 around 8 am on a Saturday and it appeared empty/no lights.

We wanted to like this place but unfortunately was subpar. The restaurant was freezing cold. We ordered 4 breakfast sandwiches to go and it took 49 minutes. Upon opening the breakfast wrap, the bottom was pooling with oil making it inedible. I hope they figure it out because it would be great to have a go to spot in Tylerville.

Food is ok but waited for 45 minutes for a breakfast Sandwich and home fries. Was not busy at the time and to top it off, people there after me were served first. I will not be going back. Ordered egg sandwich with well done egg request. The eggs yolk was not cooked through. As I waited more customers showed up snd waited in line to order and two sets of them left.

Where to start? The interior design leaves much to be desired, lacking in both aesthetic and quality. You order at the counter from a limited menu, and your food is later brought to your table. On our first visit, an enthusiastic staff member recommended the hash brown bowls. Sadly, the actual dish didn't live up to its menu description. Instead of crispy hash browns, we were served an excessive portion of spongy home fries, peppered with unmentioned ingredients. All this was presented on a flimsy Styrofoam plate, complete with budget plastic utensils. I ordered medium poached eggs but received over-easy eggs cooked in burnt butter, all stacked inelegantly. Just one slice of toast accompanied the meal, although the bacon was decent. My friend was equally unimpressed. For a restaurant promoting all-day breakfast, one would expect mastery in that arena. Sadly, this was more of a showcase of their shortcomings. I don't intend to return, and I suspect their doors will close sooner rather than later. To the owners: consider taking cues from seasoned establishments like Country Restaurant in Higganum or Diane's in Colchester. They've nailed the recipe for success. Apologies for the harsh review, but the kitchen needs to step up its game.

Awesome food and very friendly restaurant! Had take out but looks like a very nice place to eat in. I had the chicken burrito, chicken empanada, apple empanada and the French toast and all were very, very delicious. Also, love that you can get breakfast anytime. My husband tried the French toast and he still raves about them… he’s also very picky. Definitely will go there again!

Smells like the groomer next door.Didn't get any food because they next told us to order at the counter and let us sit waiting for a waiter while my 2 year old had a food related meltdown because he was hungry. So we left after realizing they were not ready for customers. Weirdest part is Google says their hours open at 6am and it was 836 when we pulled in and they were not open yet, a staff member jumped out of a car and let us in and turned the "open" sign...very odd place. We also had a member of our party with accessibility issues and there was no ramp to enter the building, this is not the restaurants fault, this is just so people know ahead of time that it might be difficult entering the restaurant.I wanted to try it because we live in a place where there are limited food choices for breakfast, that open before 830, I went even though another person I know also had a less then stellar 45 minute wait for 2 omelets.Fingers crossed, they figure out the customer service/ interactions and can stick around. Possibly work with the landlord about ventilation issues(dog smell) and the lack of a ramp out front.Wheelchair accessibility: Nope

I go by this place 3-4 times a week. I had NO idea it was a restaurant. The sign is unreadable from the road...and I had to search for it...did find a website but it had no menu....so I have yet to stop in, but will, once they have figured out their issues which show up in these reviews..So I will give them 5 stars in the hopes that all will smooth over and they will be a success...we need a good restaurant/ take out place in that location!
