5 stars is not enough. Our wedding was without a doubt the most perfect event we could have ever wished for. From the beginning planning stages, Hattie, Lauren, Kelley, everyone was so incredibly responsive, helpful and answered a million questions from myself or my mom. They worked with us to ensure everything was perfect, and we could not have had a more elegant wedding without the help of the entire venue staff. From day of Rob and everyone who assisted made sure things ran so smoothly. One of our busses was delayed due to traffic (Memorial Day Weekend- no surprise there) & even with the minor inconvenience the staff made sure that things ran so smoothly that myself (the bride) and my guests really had no clue things were pushed back a tiny bit.
The food was outstanding, the service was impeccable. We had our cocktail hour both inside & outside and adding a second bar was ideal. We added a sushi bar, and my guests are still talking about how delicious it was. They accommodated all of our requests with ease, and I wish I could relive the day and night over and over again. All of my vendors informed me during the planning process just how professional and wonderful the venue is, and it could not be more true. They all worked seamlessly with Riverhouse. Our personal attendants were wonderful, ensuring myself and my husband had the best day and night of our lives. Most venues do not offer suites for grooms, and I am so happy that the men were able to have their own place to relax and hangout. our bridal suite was prepared perfectly for us with champagne snacks and everything we needed. Quality service is hard to come by these days, but every single staff member working at our wedding went above and beyond to make sure my husband, myself and my guests had an incredible night.
My guests are still raving weeks later about the wedding. I could not recommend this venue and the entire staff enough, get married here!!!

The first text from my daughter the day after her wedding was about how she was going to miss talking to the staff at the Riverhouse! Not only is the venue absolutely beautiful, the staff is incredible. Rob was our event manager, and we cannot say enough about his professionalism, knowledge, kindness, and caring. It helped us relax to know that he was in charge. The impeccable service also did not go unnoticed by our guests. We’re still receiving comments about how wonderful the service and food was. One friend loved how well the servers circulated with the hors d’ouevres during the cocktail hour. My daughter and new son-in-law’s requirement for a wedding venue was an outside ceremony and indoor reception. The Riverhouse checked those boxes and so many more!

Mary was my best friend throughout wedding planning and was such an incredible resource to go to when I didn’t know the answers to things! She also made amazing recommendations and was such a comforting person to go to when I felt panicked! From the first group tasting to our final private tasting, she covered every single finite detail to make sure our menu was perfect (along with linens, floor plans, overall logistics). She is AMAZING!!!
We also had the pleasure of having Donna as a day-of coordinator and oh my goodness. She is a rockstar. She helped me with a broken dress bustle, ensured EVERYTHING was coordinated and setup properly on the property at Smith Farm Gardens, and worked with my other vendors for the smoothest day possible. I have nothing but incredible things to say about Donna and I feel so lucky that we had her assistance and guidance on our wedding day.
Our guests RAVED about the passed hors d’oeuvres and the meals at dinner. The food was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. The staff for the bar was also incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a designated person (I’m so sorry i forget his name) make sure we had drinks and food all night and he was AMAZING.

Very disappointing, I sent this email over 6 months ago with no response. Very unprofessional and poorly prepared.
"Hi Donna & Mary, I am hoping you still work for Riverhouse Catering because I have some feedback to share. My wedding was over a year now on July 3rd 2022 & the reason why I’m writing you so late is because my guests over the past few months are now coming to me to express some issues that I’m sure you were aware of and I want to provide my feedback. Many of my guests told me they did not eat at my wedding, 3 tables that I have heard from as of now. That’s 30 people, not eating at my wedding that I spent $26,000 on for food and beverage. I am appalled, embarrassed and dissatisfied. When they got to the buffet they were given 1 asparagus, a half a scoop of potatoes and hardly any meat, and quote "5 penne noodles that were counted out". A few guests shared with me when they asked for more they were told no because there wouldn’t be enough food to finish serving. The feed back was also that the guests served first had mounds of food on their plates. Guests were “starving” as they told me directly. As you can imagine I’m horrified that this is how my wedding will be remembered. And just to add a few more things I was going to let slide but since I’m writing you I will mention it all.. I was also told there was going to be one buffet for each dinning room and that it would take 45 min but in reality there was one buffet for both and it took over an hour and a half. The alcohol that was brought in for the bride and groom only was given out to guests within the first 5 minutes of cocktail hour so myself nor my husband were unable to enjoy the drinks we provided for ourselves. I am disgusted by this and will not be recommending or using your catering company again."

Fabulous catered Christmas Party in my home. They set up everything and brought plates and silverware and all linens. We had great passed hors d’oevres and three different main courses and a full bar plus desserts.The servers and bartender were all terrific. We did no setup, cooking or cleanup and one half hour after the party was over, you could not tell we had even had a party-all dishes and food were removed and the house was just it was before party. Food was delicious- this is the only way to have a party!

She is hands down the most responsive, thorough, organized, and kind vendor I have worked with. This girl deserves all of the accolades! She made me feel so comfortable with the entire process, answered every single question we had, and went above and beyond for us on multiple occasions. I don’t know how she kept all of the details straight but she did, and then some! Then on the day of the wedding Donna and her team did such an amazing job! They were so kind and attentive - I had so many guests comment on how accommodating they were. The food was also the BEST food I’ve ever had at a wedding. My guests could not stop raving about it! 10/10 would recommend Riverhouse catering!
