About The Coach Stop

The Coach Stop is a historic restaurant located in a 1700's building, providing a rustic and atmospheric dining experience. The menu features delicious dishes, including their special chowder and excellent pizzas, and has recently received high praise for its chicken, with one customer claiming it to be the best they've ever had. The Gorgonzola pasta and chicken francese have also been highlighted as pure goodness. The staff is generally friendly and attentive, catering to dietary restrictions with accommodations. While some guests have experienced occasional delays in service, the food and atmosphere continue to make it a worthwhile stop, especially for special occasions. Prices are moderate, with meals ranging around $160 for a group. The restaurant features a bar atmosphere or a more formal dining room and is wheelchair accessible with a one-floor layout. Customers have praised the gourmet food, warm welcome, and live music, creating an old-fashioned and lively ambiance. However, recent reviews indicate some changes in menu items and portion sizes, leading to mixed experiences. Despite this, many agree that the quality of food remains high, and the owner, who is also the chef, is clearly passionate about his cooking. The picturesque location next to a charming church adds to the restaurant's appeal.
