The Edison Grill in Harwinton is an excellent choice for a casual meal. We experienced fast and friendly service, and the portion sizes were quite decent. The food was truly delicious; our burgers and the turkey club were all cooked to perfection. The Southwest Burger deserves a special mention for its perfectly spicy chipotle aïoli. While the cocktail, beer, and wine selection is on the expensive side, the quality of the food makes this spot highly recommended.

I went here with my family to try out the margarita flight that one of us saw on social media. The margaritas were phenomenal and decorated very well to fit the theme. The restaurant is decorated tastefully to emphasize the Edison name. I ordered calamari and salmon and both were very well prepared. The salmon was top notch and some of the best I’ve had! I ordered it with risotto and roasted Brussels and both tasted amazing. Looking forward to going back here again!

The Edison Grill has been around for years, but I always seemed to drive by at the wrong time – either too early or after they were closed. Tonight everything lined up, and I finally stopped in for dinner.
We got there just early enough to grab a table without a wait (there was a line by the time we left). Food was excellent all around. The crispy Brussels sprouts with a spicy Asian sauce and feta were incredible. My sweet potato fries, served with a drizzle on the side, were probably the best I’ve had – and I don’t usually even like sweet potato fries, but the waitress recommended them and she was 100% right.
The sandwiches were spot-on, the tenders were crispy and flavorful, and the Key lime pie… well, my daughter said it’s worth stopping in just for that. She planned to take it home, but it didn’t make it out the door – gone before I could even snap a picture of more than the empty container.

I’ll start with the good which isn’t much. The aesthetic and presentation/layout of the place is very cool and interesting. While I was there with the family I always could find things that were interesting and create a conversation. That’s as far as the good goes. The service was very lackluster to say the least. My first and LAST time being here. Apple juice was spilling from the bottom of my son’s juice cup, the server put the orange juice down and it spilled from how hard she put it down, pancake and potatoes that were ordered were super dry to The point where it was unbearable to eat without a beverage. The only reason why we came is because our original place was closed. On top of everything else the price does not match the quality. The reason why i am not giving this a 1 star is because I really want to give you guys a benefit of the doubt (maybe original chef wasn’t in the kitchen today) things like that and during our visit there were other families I could overhear saying first and last time visiting as well. If you know that you have a customer that is visiting for the first time, you should definitely try everything in your power to try to make that person become a recurring customer. I did not get that vibe from this place.

Wonderful eatery! The food, the atmosphere, the drinks and the staff were all amazing. The only thing I'm unhappy about is that I live an hour away from it! Will definitely make a plan to day trip somewhere and go back!!!

Went today @3pm. Nice and quiet at this time of day. Had the artichoke appetizer and it was absolutely to die for. Main dish was the truffle burger with truffle fries. Cooked to perfection. (Forgot to take a pic). Drink of choice was the toasted marshmallow old fashion. Wish I got the waitresses name. She was so pleasant and attentive. Can't say enough about this visit.

First time here, and it's definitely a gem. My wife and I decided to come here and eat as we were in the area. Service was very good, wings were crispy and tasty, and our burgers were cooked as we asked. We sat outside as the weather was great. The business saw a lot of cars pulling in the hour or so we sat. Glad we picked here to eat. Worth another visit ??
