Twin Lakes Cafe is the epitome of a hometown dive bar. Once you walk through the front door you are instantly transported in a time machine back at least 40 years. Driving by happened to see the Humpday BBQ sign and decided to give it a try. The service is beyond friendly and welcoming. Generous sized drinks with great prices. Food was fantastic. Pulled pork on a soft roll was the perfect comfort food sandwich. BBQ pork spareribs were amazing as well with just the right amount of bark and char. Don't be deterred by the dive bar exterior and interior. The staff is super nice and the BBQ food is some of the best you can get in CT.
