With my last name and driving through Higganum, CT, I just had to stop by and have a bite to eat! The Mexican Crispy Chicken Wrap and Onion Rings were hot off the press and so delicious!

Great Food! Haven’t been to Higgie’s since I was a teen. Stopped for a late lunch on way home from beach. Service a little slow but well worth the wait. Had a shrimp wrap & chowder.

Stop by for ice cream second time, the first time was good. The second time when I was ordering ice cream, owner( that what he said, he is) jumped from the car, and interrupted my order and start make fun of my accent. Very unprofessional and rude

Food was delicious!!! I was pleasantly surprised to see a vegetarian option on the menu. The food was tasty and the wait wasn't too long. We were able to find seating and ended our stay with a shake. Definitely will be back!!!

Update. Chocolate milkshake tastes just like Hershey's syrup. I couldn't finish it.
I can only speak to the hamburgers and hot dogs. The hot dog was pretty good. The hamburger was okay but not great. I actually expected a better burger. If you're going to pay over $10 for one Burger I would expect to have the best fresh unfrozen meat. I didn't feel like that's what I got. I remember going to this restaurant when I was just a little kid many years ago. I've seen it go through a few different owners. Always thought their hamburgers were great.
