I was looking for a place to meet up with a friend halfway between our locations and happened upon Heirlooom Food Company and I'm so glad I did! The setting is great, with lots of different seating options, the staff is friendly, service quick and food is delicious! They have options for everyone, and the meals we got were very filling. I also love that they offer recycling. Will definitely return if I'm in the area again.

Yet another venue which is technically not 100% Vegan, but virtually all dishes are Vegan by default, with a couple of carnivorous options available on the menu. Nevertheless, I give Heirloom a five-star rating. Delicious, nutritious items abound, and having been here now a couple of times, I can confidently affirm that I will gladly make this one of my "go-to's" in the area. I was out of town for the week and looked for a vegan option restaurant. Wow, was I pleasantly surprised with Heirloom Food Company. We have a similar vegan cafe in Cookeville, TN, Juicy Wellness Cafe, but Heirloom has many more vegan options. I had a burrito bowl, mock chicken wrap, and Tempeh BLT. All were fantastic. Great service, great staff, highly recommend.

Comfortable setting. Quality innovative menu. Pleasant and attentive staff. Highly recommend this restaurant. Would eat here more often if I lived closer. It is a good choice if you like healthy eating options.

Have eaten here a number of times over the past couple of years, and have always loved the food and the vibe. Amazing selection for delicious vegetarian or vegan dishes. I have gotten the grain bowl types of food several times and have always loved it. The prices are a bit higher, but not by much, and considering the value of the fresh, healthy food you're getting - totally worth it. Would absolutely recommend checking this place out if you haven't already.

Vegan for 14 years now, and this place is still one of the best I’ve ever tried :) The staff are all super sweet and adorable, the atmosphere is welcoming, earthy, and cozy. And drive up makes ordering super easy if you’re an anxious person like I am (:

And the food is actually insane. So good, super fresh. The mock chicken curry is a criminal contraband item it’s so good.

One of my favorite meals I’ve ever had. This place is so good, highly highly recommend. It was just somewhere I decided to stop on my route traveling through, and I’ll for sure be back just for this. Great vegan and vegetarian options, easy online ordering, and I was blown away by the pomegranate dark chocolate smoothie!!

Everything we had here was fresh and delicious! Anything can be made gf (although their gf bread slices are considerably smaller in size than the regular bread). DD had a grilled cheese, which was grilled on a dedicated pan. Maybe a little too greasy, we would ask next time to be grilled dry. My sandwich had rainbow layers of crunchy, tasty vegetables. Their gf cupcakes were decadent.

Vegetarian options: Sandwiches and maybe bowls?

Dietary restrictions: Very conscious of allergens, specially wheat.

Parking: The place is up the hill with parking out side to the right and additional parking further up.

Heirloom is my go-to for modern&mindful food in the area. There’s only one meat option, but because of the quality in all of their food, it encouraged me to try new things and find new favorites. The mock-chicken curry and the white&black bean burger are pretty darn good. I appreciate the healthy option in town.

We always enjoy eating here. Food is mouth watering & very tasteful.
Need to be cautious pulling in the driveway as had someone coming out in a new Volvo who did not know the function of a signal light.

Always a favorite when visiting that area. The food is always great, and we leave with vegan/gluten free desserts that rival no vegan/gluten free bakeries.

Vegetarian options: This is a rarity in Northeastern Connecticut. The menu is all vegetarian/vegan (choice between cheese/vegan cheese on all items that have it) also there are options on some items to add turkey (it's nice to add instead of subtract!)

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options

Parking: Lots of parking behind restaurant

Kid-friendliness: Kid menu, but many options are already kid friendly.

I went here for the first time today. I got the grown up grilled cheese with cheddar and an oatmeal Creme pie. The food is phenomenal! It’s fresh, it’s tasty and it looks amazing. I literally cannot recommend this place enough. I can’t wait to come back and try more!

Delicious food! Fresh, tasty, interesting, high quality. I had a grilled cheese (Berlin) and my daughter had tuna salad and chips (they have a thoughtful kids menu- made me want to steal their ideas and serve at home too!)

Parking: Plenty of parking although at least half is far from the entrance. Also a very busy and narrow parking lot.

Kid-friendliness: Awesome kids menu. Plenty of space. Maybe not awesome for babies; no changing table in the one restroom and I didn't see any highchairs. We found a table with plenty of room to keep the baby next to us in their car seat. The outdoor seating is beautiful; tables tucked here and there but as it's up on a hill or a deck with stairs, again not awesome for a little toddler.
