Jade Garden Chinese Restaurant

Not many Chinese places in ct that have good fried rice.
That being said i always order the meatless fried rice and a large beef teriyaki to go.
Finally sat down to eat there tonight and it was great. Little pricey so be prepared. Just a small rice and teriyaki is 22 bux. But it's worth it. Update.. 1 22 26 still fire!
They are always festive with the holiday decor and place is clean.

Food quality is worse and portions are smaller but the food is way more expensive. $40 spent and wasted because we couldn’t even eat our food it was so bad. I used to order take out all the time here as a kid. I was wondering why my family stopped ordering here and it’s because the quality has significantly decreased. Ate my meal (D17) was already pretty bad, I figured the lo mein I got to eat would at least be good. Nope the lo mein was even WORSE. Only took a few bites of it and couldn’t even eat it had to throw it out. My bf got the D2 and he couldn’t even eat most of it. The chow mein was mostly soggy onions and the chicken looked so bland and there was barely any. He said he would rather eat a raw onion like an apple than eat what he got. I genuinely don’t understand how this place has more than 4 stars.

Do not go to this place, I am so upset, wasted $40. Rice is dry and stale, meat is over cook and just microwaved. Absolutely disgusting, rather eat 50 cent ramen than go here eat.

Our food was amazing and perfect portions, I don’t understand the people that need more. Excellent food late pick up on a Sunday. There’s a reason they have been here for song.

Our family have been to Jade Garden restaurant dozens of times over the last 40 years and they have never disappointed. The food is always delicious using the freshest and highest quality ingredients. Their crab Rangoon‘s are known as the best EVER. Their pork strips are meaty with never any grizzle. And their Jade Garden rice is renowned. The decor is bright, cheerful and culturally appealing. Jade Garden is a family run business and they are always very welcoming, offering consistently great service. A high recommend to anyone looking for a delicious meal.

Used to be excellent but the quality of the product has gone down significantly. Definitely disappointed 😞

Jade Garden is the only Chinese restaurant we go for Chinese! They have great food, give you big portions and the prices are good. Very friendly atmosphere with family in mind. Their drinks are great!

Went for a late lunch early dinner. I ordered D6 the food was excellent. Haven’t been in years but will definitely be back. One negative a small glass of Diet Coke was 2.79 and no refills so almost 6$ not impressed. Will order water going forward!
