I love little family owned shops where the owners' care shines with their customers... and this is one of them. I suggest ANY dish with chicken, it is prepared so nicely! Buffalo chicken calzone is my favorite! No ricotta unless you ask, which is exactly how I like it. And a very fair price!

Pizza is very subjective. One man’s pizza is another man’s poison. For our tastes, PizzaPizzaz is the best pizza that we’ve had in Connecticut. Crisp crust, just the right amount of sauce and cheese, great toppings and friendly service make this worth the 40 minute drive to enjoy this pie. Excellent salad also. Cold and crisp

Yesterday I went for a few slices of pizza and wanted them reheated and wanted them like they just came out of the oven fresh. I didn't want a Hawaiian style slice of pizza but ended up with it any way. The person who helped me was more concerned about talking to the other person about her tattoos then watching and paying attention to my slices of pizza. I've been coming to this restaurant since they opened in the 2004-2005 time frame. I was a regular there loved the pizza and the grinders. Always made to perfection I ended up going back to my hometown and raised my kids it was 20 years ago I lived here and then returned. Danielson has changed alot in that time and so has Pizza Pizzazz there foods different from them and so Is the customer service. My slices of pizza were like hard crust not soft and easy to eat. It could have used a bit more pizza sauce. They were not easy to eat. I don't know if I can come back here this has been like my 3 rd try in the almost 3 years that I've been here.

Ever since Pizza Pizzazz opened up, they've been nothing but spot on. The family that owns it is awesome, food is great, and is always a go to when I'm looking for something tasty. A downtown gem for sure.

Stopped just for 2 slices today. It was a great choice. Crust was crispy but not concrete, and no flop. Not very greasy, even with the pepperoni. Not over sauced or cheesed, it was a perfect layering in my opinion. The staff was freindly and it felt like an authentic operation. So simple, yet hard to find.

Overall pizza pizzazz was great. Pizza was a little greasy for me, but not too bad. My one actual complaint was that they cut their slices in half!? Which then made it almost impossible to fold and eat like a normal human being. Which, next time I go, can be solved with "please don't cut my pizza in half". But it was yummy!!!
My son turned 4 today and asked for pizza for dinner. With it being a Tuesday, our options in the area were limited so we settled on pizza Pizzazz. We ordered a pizza to eat in house and after about 40 minutes of waiting, I went up to the register to inquire about the pizza and pay in advance. Turns out our pizza was sitting on top of the oven as a to-go order because the young girl who took our order did not label it as an in house order. No apology or anything, but we let it go as it was No big deal and we understand accidents happen. We proceeded to eat our pizza, cleaned up our area and once done, headed towards the door as we thanked everyone for the pizza. Well the female owner chased us out the door asking if we paid. My husband responded that we did and I added that we would never leave an establishment without paying - she went back inside.
It was highly insulting and disappointing as she was around the register as was another employee when we paid with the third employee. I could understand if it was a busy evening but it was not. next time I recommend checking with your staff before chasing out paying customers, especially those who are minorities as being there for awhile, we were the only ones I saw her chase out so it for sure felt like a microaggression.

I’ve lived in the area for 20 years, and never went to this place. Recently went and was thoroughly pleased. The food was excellent, subs were properly built and prices were reasonable. I’ll definitely be returning, though only for a pick up. I ordered at the counter and waited for 15 minutes for the food. When I got home, I had to change my clothes because everyone kept complaining that I smelled like the place. Other than that, we will be returning for a better quality of food in the area.
