I took my mother in law here .. omg she is now referring everyone here not to mention that's where she wants to go. my husband had the fried oysters he said they were amazing. stuffed haddock is really good.

we placed an order for pick up, called at 6:20pm was told it would be about a 30 to 35 mins wait, my husband went to go pick up our order and waited in line for well over an hour waiting to pick up my order. when I called and spoke to the manager, he informed me they were very busy and doing their best. when the manager (owner) handed my husband our food, he rudely informed him that I do not need to call and complain about the wait time and though a 55 min wait for a pick up order was resonable. mind you, we ordered 2 kids pasta meals, two salads, and fish tacos....nothing extreme or unreasonable. we will never go back and will never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

MAINE girl here! My mother and I just came for an early dinner, we both ordered the lobster mac and cheese. The pasta was amazing! However, the actual lobster was dry, as if frozen or overcooked—we’re guessing frozen! Fresh is best!

What a lovely little place. The atmosphere is your normal local restaurant, with the dinning side and the bar side. You will be able to ease drop on multiple peoples conversations and that’s what makes me love this place even more. This is my second time here, seafood seems to be a big hit, which you wouldn’t think for nowhere Dayville CT. But give it a shot. Fish and chips huge portion, fish tacos amazing, knock your socks off and the fish and cake taco is awesome. The chowder and fritters were top quality, love a good clam. Calamari was good, nothing to write home about, portions are big enough, save the money get a second drink. Give it a go, sit bar side have a good time with good beer and good people

We had an awesome experience at Railside Tavern! The atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing family meal, and our server, Gavin, was exceptional. He gave fantastic recommendations on both the pizza and spicy pasta dishes, which we absolutely loved. His friendly service made our visit even better. We can’t wait to return soon!
This trip we enjoyed both an appetizer of Southwest spring rolls and their house white pizza with additional meatball topping even grabbed a bowl of their lobster bisque to go for a friend. Phenomenal service!
