Another excellent breakfast. Great service, clean, and great food. A very comfortable place. Service was perfect, great coffee. The owner Kevin knows how to run a great restaurant. We always stop on our way to visit family in Connecticut. If I lived closer I would go weekly. I really can't say enough positive things. Give it a try. Keep up the good work, it shows. I just moved out here, and have been looking for a go-to local diner. The first time here the food was ok, but the service sucked. Today I was there and there was attitude 10 seconds after I walked in the door. I regretted even staying to place my order. I wont be back.

I love diners. 9 out of 10 times they serve a simple menu with just plain good food and Zips didn't let us down. The biscuits and gravy was the star with a light, fluffy delicious biscuit covered in sausage gravy. My over medium eggs were cooked perfectly and the hash browns had that perfect crunchy outside and hot, smooth inside. Reasonable prices and an owner who made not only the locals but everyone feel welcome. Small so seating is limited but worth the wait.

Zips is not even close to qualifying as some sort of gourmet restaurant but it gets a rare 5/5/5 stars from me for achieving diner perfection. This is not some tourist repro place, it's the real deal, from the chrome adorned everything, to the Formica counters, to the functioning table side juke box. Service here is always prompt and friendly, and while enormous portions have become the norm of American restaurants, I find the sensibly sized plates served here to be more than enough, delicious and very reasonably priced. Worth a stop if you are perhaps going to Logees or heading south to the CT casinos!

My wife and at Zip's diner for breakfast twice and the food and service were fantastic. Also wanted to note the my wife has celiac disease and our server was on top of it and her feel comfortable. We will be back as our daughter has moved into the area.

The place is usually packed by 9am and later ! So it's just lucky if you don't have to wait until someone else leaves, and a table is open after that! They have a great menu, and the food is delicious 😋!
