Had a great dinner at Fern! The food was fantastic (meatballs and polenta especially), cocktails were great, our water was so friendly and helpful, place is beautiful. It’s a bit pricey but did not disappoint. Will definitely be going back!

Nice use of space in repurposing an older building that was once an old firehouse. The food is good, but is unfortunately quite pricey . 2 entrees, 2 desserts and 2 drinks really shouldn't total $150.00 before tip.

Pretentious environment and a genuine lack of understanding of what Italian food is. The name is appropriate as like a fern as everything there could be better off as bio-fertilizer. But my goodness, the vapidity inside, outside, and on the menu.

We've been coming up for the weekend several times a year for 15 years so we know the area well. Food was ok, nothing special for the prices. For a starter we had the warm olives and cheese. The olives were ok but the cheese was mostly the rind. We had the chicken and osso buco. Both were on the dry side and flavors were meh. Drinks were expensive and were done in 3 sips. The decor was nice but it was very loud. Waiter was slow with clearing plates and the check. Other restaurants in the area are better and more reasonably priced.

The Fern was really disappointing. Food is average and the portions are very small. The noise level is deafening. Service is fine but some of the staff had an attitude and made us feel unwelcome. Overall it is not comfortable and the atmosphere doesn’t feel natural.

The waitstaff was attentive and knowledgeable. They were able to accommodate a large party with complicated orders. Cannot recommend this place enough for a special occasion with friends and family.

I am an Italian home cook. We make everything from scratch at home. My husband is a classically trained French chef. I ordered the Margarita pizza which is simple to make including the dough. It was soggy, like wring it out soggy. Did not eat it. Very loud and open space not a place to quietly dine. Our waitress was fabulous but without good food all you have is a bar. We won't be back.
This is our second visit to Fern. This time we brought one of our college kids with us! Lucky we had a reservation, because it was busy! Got drinks right away...always a good start! Got the burrata appetizer - a lot of cheese and not much toast, but the flavor was lovely. Maybe another wee bit of bread to go with the ginormous piece of cheese? And pesto on each piece! Moving on. Dinner was terrific...we all had pasta: gnocchi, cavatelli and rigatoni...all delicious, not sure which I liked best and with a glass of red wine, now that is perfection! Kid got the budino aka Italian chocolate pudding. Not too sweet, which is perfect! She loved it. Michael was our server and did a splendid job, he was on point the whole time! A wonderful evening was had by all and the bill was reasonable too!

Not kid friendly. Do not have high chairs and looks like they don't plan to. Claim family style, but portions rather small. Prices are high for what you get, quality ok. Hidden charges, be careful to split any dishes. Emailed management with concerns, no response.

Another excellent experience at Fern! Highly recommend this Restaurant to anyone in the Lakeville area! The pizza was so delicious from there brick oven in basically the middle of the dining room! Our server was very knowledgeable while suggesting dishes to us!

absolutely love!!!excellent food, service, and the atmosphere was so perfectly cozy and warm.the environment was so peaceful and welcoming to our group. went to this beautiful spot with family and we all had the best time. everyone was so sweet and friendly and were clearly so eager to make sure we had a wonderful time.the food was delicious and truly satisfied my entire group. we had ordered two margarita pizzas which were served crisp and fluffy with the perfect amount of toppings. everything else had beautiful flavors.all staff were so experienced and i wont hesitate to return with EVERYONE i know! ❤️❤️❤️
